Good job. And it’s great that your kids know it without a doubt.

Hopefully your wife does too? So if she does know, without a doubt that you have been faithful, have you asked her this:

“If you found out today that I have been financially assisting a woman for a couple years, because she is without a job and she has two young kids, would you conclude I am sleeping with her?”

It might be an interesting thing to ask wives, coming from men who have been faithful, and coming from men who have not been faithful.

You could test my theory about adultery stats by asking the next 20 women you see on the street... random strangers...

“We are conducting an anonymous survey with two questions:
(1) Have you ever had an abortion?
(2) Have you ever cheated on someone you were in a monogamous relationship with?”

When you get 20 out of 20 who say they have not had an abortion, you’ll see what I mean. Abortion is not something to be proud of or admit... neither is cheating on a spouse, but cheating is commonplace enough that 20-30% of people admit to it. Surely there are a certain percentage who don’t admit it. Surely not everyone is willing to tell the world they have committed a sin like that. So some will admit it (probably the Liberals), and some won’t admit it. I’d like to see a statistic on cheaters that also includes political leaning... Conservative vs. Liberal.

FYI, abortion stats from one random website: http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/policy/abortion/uslifetimeab.html

Summary: It is estimated here that, as of 2008, about 28% of U.S. women ages 15-64 have had abortions. This figure has risen from 2.8% in 1973 to 11% in 1980, 19% in 1987, 24% in 1994, and 27% in 2001. In 2008, of women ages 40-55, about 40% have had abortions in their lifetimes

Thank you for your comments and for your concern for the unborn. Let us pray that the Republican Party remains firm in our commitment to the "social issues" - including the right to life.

The bumper sticker: "Choose life - your mother did!" says it all.

Blessings.
