Many muslim families take long (sometimes month long) vacations during December since they don’t celebrate Christmas. Gets their mind off of it.
I was just wondering what the crisis will be that will steal Christmas from us this year.
In 2009 it was Obamacare being crammed down our throats in spite of us burning down the phone lines in DC.
In 2010 it was the budget and the bill promising the Soviets that we won’t do missile defense.
What will it be this year, for the 3rd Annual Ruin Christmas Event?
Or maybe an EMP from Iran after Israel hits their nuke sites. We’re approaching the point of no return; either Israel does something soon, or the Islamic caliphate will have lots of nukes along with the hotheads who want to start them.
I thought y’all were talking about Obama, and I figured Sam the Butcher was more his type.

Just fabulous. My wife, a LEGAL immigrant from Russia (after having spent two years apart from each other for LEGAL IMMIGRATION regulations), and I will be at Pearl Harbor on the 17th for the first time to honor the great Americans who died defending the USA. BTW, she happens to be in the process of becoming a citizen ASAP just so she can contribute to voting Obama out of office. If that affirmative action POS disrupts our first visit to this national landmark I’ll go out of my way to let him know.....Never mind. Don’t know who’s reading these comments.
Our lives and the lives of our progeny are being strip-mined to keep Obama and his cohorts in power and living comfortably.
That is exactly why he's taking a vacation at this time...he doesn't want to preside over the religious festivities in DC.

Been there, done that. It's a little game the SSA plays.
You apply, they deny. You appeal they deny. You get a lawyer for 2nd appeal, they deny. Then replay process over and over for 24-30 months and then it *finally* reaches the 'SSA Judge' and you get approved ('most times').
The bad part is waiting all that time and going further into debt. The good part is you get a big fat check for all the months since you first applied (aka: Became Disabled), minus one month (SOP), and the lump sum payment is (should be) Tax Exempt to boot. Then you can pay off the debt you incurred in large steps (Big Monthly Payments) with the money and your credit rating goes back up pretty quick.
btw, a Lawyer IS Mandatory for those appeals or you'll never get approved. Their final cut isn't much as it's set by Law, and it's not 1/3 like with most lawyer fees (Binder and Binder is good, I know.).
So good luck. And get that Lawyer Monday.

Funding for the government runs out Dec. 16, leaving little time to resolve the disputes."
