Their hearing will be in Houston Municipal Court, which is run by Barbara E. Hartle, who, according to the Dallas Voice, is listed by the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund as "one of only a few out members of the Texas judiciary."
She was appointed to the position by Houston Mayor Annise Parker, identified by the Los Angeles Times as "the first lesbian to head a major American city."
Allen told WND that no matter what happens, the fact that the ministers were handcuffed and ticketed, with their signs and shofar confiscated for a time, sent a chilling message about free speech regarding religion and homosexuality.
Technically, they were ticketed for having signs thicker than one-quarter inch (they say they were 3/16ths and that they'd been approved beforehand), and for having a sign not made out of wood (their shofar is a ram's horn style).
Officers responded after someone apparently complained about the messengers and their message, but a video reveals that the first officer on the scene told them they weren't doing anything wrong.
It was a few minutes later, however, when officers approached the preachers, apparently grabbed a video camera, wrestled them to the ground and put them in handcuffs.

I’m thinking that a judge, prosecutor and some police officers should be facing jail time for obstruction of justice, or some other crime.

The whole fascist system of forcing homosexual morality on us is based on some vague thing they call ‘tolerance’ which is about as much of a lack of real world legal basis as you can get. It flat borders on the religious and to me crashes right through the separation of church and state that the Left loves so much.
I see this as little different than the very thing the Left says that hate the European colonial empires for - walking into an existing nation and completely wiping away their culture and belief system based on enlightenment and moral superiority. They have nothing to back up tolerance for their crap other than brute force.
Their reasons and ‘arguments’ are the same ones that pedophiles and polygamists are saying we should legitimize their behavior too. Basically attempting to make their moral philosophy the highest law in the land with a circular BS legal house of cards of zero substance. What it really is, is a crusade - a big perverted religious cult fanatic crusade at that, using the power of the State to enforce it.

Why are these performance artists being silenced? Sure their art transgresses the normative PC cultural understanding, but it’s just designed to raise questions and spark a conversation about subjects that normally go unquestioned in today’s media conditioned society.
