Caww...there is not one candidate on that stage that has confronted or attempted to clarify a position on Islam. Perry has been invited and accepted and has forged a ‘mutual respect’ between the imam and himself. The imam, which he befriended (for lack of a better word) represents the ‘minority’ of muslims. In spite of what is popularly stated, not all of the islamic people are jihadists. There are some that are in a minority that are peaceful and they are targets in the middle-east.
I know all about the Iman’s he associates with...and what they believe as well as what they teach...especially the Aga Khan and his works nationally here as well as internationally.
All you stated...and I say this repsectfully OW...is exactly what is promoted about Perry and the Aga Khan...in order to make these relationships be palitable and accepted... however things are not always what they are promoted as we know.
As with many muslims...what they promote here and what they promote in their Mosques in their land is very different....additionally what they promote in their mosques and communities centers here and what they promote outside ot the community is equally different.
This is not a good thread to have discussion about this on...enough I do know what’s going on and Perry has been more than been tricked or he is simply deluding himself about muslims.
