I hope we can still get a conservative nominee.

Sarah has mentioned Santorum as well. And Rush not too long ago said we're due for a rebirth in Bachmann's candidacy.

I do hope so.

Good for Mark Levin (I'm not being sarcastic), but if Romney winds up being the nominee, I can not and will not support him.

I'm taking the "Jim Robinson" position on Romney.

Yup. its time for the tea partiers to put up or shut up.

I could get between a Bachmann/Santorum or vice versa ticket very easily.

I was so happy to hear Levin say that on his radio show yesterday, as Cain, Santorum and Bachmann were the three on my short list.

I look at it this way...again...that a child could be conceived tonight or today and be born before Election Day 2012. So, who really knows?

Glenn Beck announced this week he is supporting Bachmann, but also not an endorsement because he doesn’t make them. It was his personal choice based on the candidates running.

Santorum works for me. Of course there will be those who chime in to say that Santorum can’t win the nomination, and that it is better to vote for a RINO who can win like Gingrich or Perry than an actual conservative like Santorum.

I agree with Levin’s take.

Haven’t heard enough of Santorum to have much of an opinion. But I sure like Sarah, despite the fact that she’s not running, and Michelle Bachmann. I think they represent my views more consistently than any of the other candidates.

We Tea Party'd and we got two of our own on the stage : Bachmann and Cain. I'll happily support either. I'm willing to support Santorum. I was happy to hear Perry join the race and vetted him only to refuse him my support. I won't touch Romney or Huntsman. I can see Gingrich as Secretary of State or even VP, but in his mind the Tea Party is just a militant group and over stated. He does not have the back of We the People, so I won't have his. That only leaves Paul -- and I'd vote for him with a smile before going Romney, Huntsman, Gingrich, or Perry. I'll wait and see if they manage to destroy Bachmann and Santorum, and whether other folks swing towards Paul in protest. But if I don't have a "reasonable" choice left to me, darn right I'll vote 3rd party or write someone in. I won't stand with my enemy just to claim "I win".

Beck is also suggesting either Bachmann or Santorum, and I am glad to see Levin doing the same.

Honestly, I don’t think either of them can win the nomination at this point, but they are the most conservative in the race and I appreciate the ideological consistency.

I hope Bachmann catches on, but I think she destroyed her campaign attacking Perry. She just took the whole HPV thing too far and sounded shrill and unpresidential. I agree with her on virtually every issue, she is a true conservative warrior and I think she is becoming a stronger candidate as time passes.

There’s no way in hell I’ll ever vote for Romney. And to be honest, the idea of Gingrich as nominee tends to nauseate me beyond words. I honestly don’t think I could vote for him either. Perry is my governor, and over the past twelve years I’ve gone from generally liking him to being disappointed in him to almost loathing him. He’s pretty good on federalism, but rotten on illegals, and vapid on most other things...the epitome of a hambone ‘professional politician.’ Ron Paul... no way.

So I’m left with Bachmann and Santorum, and although they have pretty darned solid, agreeable conservative voting records, neither of them particularly inspire me with confidence, in terms of lasting out very far in the primary season. Santorum just doesn’t come across well at all, and Bachmann’s comportment throughout this whole past year of campaigning has been incredibly aggravating.

Anyway, I have an idea that neither Bachmann or Santorum will even be around by the time my state’s primary comes up. If that’s the case, I’m “writing-in” Sarah Palin’s name, which (despite those that want to argue its pointlessness) will offer a certain satisfying contentment. That will likely be the only positive thing I’ll derive from this election, judging from the way things are going.

I don’t know Bachman has looked petty with how she has attacked other conservatives and her eyes make her look crazy. Cain was the best shot at a conservative who can get everybody motivated with conservatism like Reagan. Seriously who believes Bachman or Santorum who acts like a beta geek really get anybody riled up like Reagan did in that time for choosing speech.

Newt really can’t either but we know he would eviscerate Obama in a debate.

Palin screwed up by not running, and it’s too bad Perry gave people a relapse of Bush deer in the headlights...

This is startin to feel like 2008 all over again

There are four flavors of conservative out there: Bachmann, Santorum, Perry and Gingrich. Cain has withdrawn.

Gingrich is running far ahead of the others. So I support him. I want to make sure the nominee is NOT Romney or Huntsman. The best way to achieve that is for all conservatives to vote for whatever conservative is ahead in the polling before the primary.

I think Santorum is going to be the “Surprise” coming out of Iowa. I don’t think he will win, but I do think he will come in Third place.

Those are my 2 favorites too. Santorum and Bachman. Unfortunately, Bachmann is at a disadvantage because she’s female and her voice does not lend itself to speaking to large audiences. She shone tonight in the one on one venue that Huckabee provided tonight with the AGs.

I really trust, enjoy and depend on Mark Levin’s opinion, but sadly I do not trust either Michele or Rick (me, me, me,I, I, I)

While Newt isn’t as conervative as I would like, he is still a gazillion times better then oblahblah and I can actually see the chance of him winning. There is just no way enough people will vote for either Michele or Rick.
