Giuliani is from New York. Are you telling me Newt is from New York?

I can’t say that I’m surprised.

Thanks.

All good questions that I wish I could dig up the answers to... believe me, I’ve tried. I can’t get anything on, or off the record on who the people are... which is why I suspect it’s Willard, or the ‘Rats...

You still need to learn the subtle nuances ~ BTW, I learned what “Pro-Cathedral” means so you’ll need to learn the difference between Pentecostal and Reformed, OK? Seem fair?

Folks, we ...er...the trolls of Massachusetts elected Dead Ted and Mad Bawney many times.

Libtrolls elected Clinton.

Libtrolls elected Obama.

We therefore have established standards for the presidency and for congresscritters.

Those standards are so low that there is no longer a point in having standards.

So, let’s just get someone in there to kick the Cretin-in-Chief and his felon/cretin friends out, indict them, and imprison them.

For life.

>>>This is from an evangelical group in Iowa.

No proof of that. It’s an anonymous group claiming to be Iowans... I suspect otherwise... but got no proof, just as you have none to say they are.

Romney isn’t the one to talk. How about a one on one debate between Mitt and Newt? Let’s see which one would make the best president. and then think some more.

Could be the Paulbots feature it but ask yourself what could they possibly be thinking?

Libertarians aren't like you and I ~ they are really different. These are just words to them, so is it the potential for discord that grabbed their attention?

I think it takes someone a little bit more OCD about marriage to put the piece together ~

Among the many outrageous things being said about Newt - the claim that he was having an affair while directing the impeachment attack on President Clinton is one of the most untrue. He may well have been having an affair during late 1998 and early 1999, but he was MIA after the 1998 election in terms of advocating for the impeachment of Clinton.

At the time I recall how conspicuous it was - Rogan, et. al. (the "House managers") had to carry the ball and Newt was effectively muted on the subject. I thought then, and suspect now that he was being blackmailed by Clinton, who had knowledge of Newt's affair and it was used to keep him at a reduced and almost invisible profile with respect to the impeachment issue. Had Newt been able to advocate freely, I'm not certain that the Senate would have fulfilled their duty to try the case after actually looking at the evidence, but the chances would have been greater.

Your gut suspicion is probably right. See post #29.

I just take them at their word. Has Vander Plaats endorsed Newt yet? Why not? If you don’t think Newt has a problem just wait and you’ll see.

Bully for you. I don’t. And I don’t give a flying crap who BVP endorses, or not. BVP doesn’t think, or endorse for anyone but himself.

“Are you telling me Newt is from New York?”

No, I think he’s from Pennsylvania.

He was born in PA, I believe. His birth last name was McPherson, but his mother and father got divorced literally a few days after his birth, and his mother’s second husband, who adopted him, was an Army officer whose last name was Gingrich.

They moved around a fair amount so he graduated from high school in Georgia, and the rest of his education and career seem to have been related to Georgia.

Why do some people keep swallowing Gingrich’s lies? He’s NOT a Conservative.

That is why his lifetime voting record in the House was 90% according to the American Conservative Union?

The most significant reform and reduction in deficits in the past 50 years in this nation occurred under a Gingrich-led Congress, -- welfare reform and a string of balanced budgets at the end of the 1990s.

So, you hate Gingrich so much, you think Clinton deserves credit for balancing the budget in the late '90s? This after he tried to push through Hillarycare that would have resulted in spending exploding?
