Iran Braces For War
Telegraph ^ | 12-5-2011

An order from Gen Mohammed Ali Jaafari, the commander of the guards, raised the operational readiness status of the country’s forces, initiating preparations for potential external strikes and covert attacks.

Western intelligence officials said the Islamic Republic had initiated plans to disperse long-range missiles, high explosives, artillery and guards units to key defensive positions.

The order was given in response to the mounting international pressure over Iran’s nuclear programme. Preparation for a confrontation has gathered pace following last month’s report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna that produced evidence that Iran was actively working to produce nuclear weapons.

The Iranian leadership fears the country is being subjected to a carefully co-ordinated attack by Western intelligence and security agencies to destroy key elements of its nuclear infrastructure.

Question for you military guys out there.

Do you think that covert attacks like the ones reported in Iran might indicate the preliminary steps to a full scale US attack?

I think I remember that we sent special forces into Iraq and Afghanistan right before the major attacks.

No. If the US was unwilling to do anything about Iran helping to kill our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, I doubt we are going to go to war over their nuclear program.

I'd think Iranian military personnel would want to be careful about that; their stuff seems to go boom all on its own a lot of the time.

They just want to be our friends, honest. Their nuclear program is just for energy. Honest. They bear no grudges, animosity or ill will against Israel or any of their other peaceful neighbors. Honest.

It’s all Bush’s fault.

Not a military guy but I don’t foresee full scale attacks at all. We will officially lay low and will likely see Israel continuing to use unconventional tactics as they have already successfully employed. Though it’s possible we have cooperated or provided some CIA assets. Just MHO.

It’s Israel. They took out that Syrian nuke plant also.

They are really good at it.

"Question for you military guys out there."

This is highly advanced pysops.

Neither the US or Israeli forces need to undertake "preparatory attacks" to have full access to Iranian airspace.

This is all about trying to cause a major crack in the regime.

No offense but didn’t we have that two years ago when everyone in Iran was protesting their government and we didn’t do anything about it?

Your question and the answer to that question is problematic.

1. People truely “in the know” either can’t tell you what the truth is, or if they do, they would be violating operational security (OPSEC) which I’m guessing you really don’t want.
2. If you get information from someone in “the know”, they won’t have proof, because that proof would expose themselves or their friends.
3. If you get “proof”, that “proof” may be a set up or intentional misinformation.

I would recommend just using Occam’s razor to get as close to the truth as you can. Here are a few facts or highly probable synarios.

Iran is working on getting a nuclear weapon and long range delivery systems.
The US and Israel don’t want Iran to get those things.
The US and Israel is most likely working through “back channels” to prevent Iran from achieving their nuclear goals.
Obama will not do a first strike against another nation (unless maybe that nation is a freedom loving, democratic republic).
Most likely Obama or the military is preplacing troops in various strategic locations in the event that Iran makes a ‘first move’.

The site at Isfahan was a fairly serious industrial “accident”. Go to the link below and check out the before and after satellite photos of Iran’s former baby formula, missile site, nuclear plant.

The photos are at the end of the report. Besure to click the after view.

The good Iranians need to take out the Islamofacist garbage and bury it before they end up like the site of Isfahan.

The good Iranians need look at what happen to the Germans and Japanese, when they failed to take out their insane garbage in WWII.

If it is, then it's a new doctrine for the use of SpecOps. In the past we have sent A-Teams & SEAL detachements in early to "prepare the battlefield" for the initial assault. Fancy way of saying "Intelligence Gathering". Such units remain concealed until they are extracted.

More likely that this could be the Mossad.

Got me thinking. What nation would Obama attack? Canada just pulled out of Kyoto and has a stronger dollar than the US. It would make the perfect target for liberation don't you think?
