Complete title: ‘On What?’--McCain Says He Didn’t Know Defense Bill He Approved Repealed Military Ban on Sodomy, Bestiality

Video at link

(CNSNews.com) - Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), the ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, told CNSNews.com on Wednesday that he did not know that the 926-page Defense Department authorization bill that came through his committee and was approved by the Senate last week on 93 to 7 vote included a provision that would repeal the military’s ban on sodomy and bestiality if the bill becomes law.

CNSNews.com asked McCain: “Senator, did you read the Defense authorization bill that was passed last week? Were you aware of the language that repealed the ban on sodomy and bestiality?”

“On what?” McCain replied.

CNSNews.com followed up: “The repeal of the ban on sodomy and bestiality in the military, were you at all aware of that?”

“I’ll have to ask my folks,” McCain said. “I—I will check on it and have, and he’ll get back to you.”

CNSNews.com then asked: “You don’t agree with that language?”

“I don’t, I don’t know what you’re—honestly. I read the bill. And I was there for many hours of deliberation and debate and amendments. And probably spent hundreds of, several hundred hours on it. But that particular provision I did not know. So we’ll have, we’ll get back to you. We’ll get back to you. Just call.”

As CNSNews.com previously reported the bill that was first approved by the Armed Service Committee, where McCain is ranking member, and then on the Senate floor, where McCain voted for it, does in fact include a provision repealing the military’s ban on sodomy and bestiality.

Page 174 of the bill includes a provision headlined in capital letters: “REPEAL OF SODOMY ARTICLE.” Click here to see a PDF of the page.

The provision states: “Section 925 of such title (article 125 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice) is repealed.” Click here to see the language of the provision as posted on Uniform Code of Miltary Justice website.

Article 125 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which anyone can find by doing a Google search, says: “(a) Any person subject to this chapter who engages in unnatural carnal copulation with another person of the same or opposite sex or with an animal is guilty of sodomy. Penetration, however slight, is sufficient to complete the offense. (b) Any person found guilty of sodomy shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.”

After the interview with Sen. McCain, CNSnews.com followed up with his office, as the senator suggested, asking why McCain had not been aware of the provision that woud repeal the military's ban on sodomy and bestiality and, now that he was aware of the provision, whether he supported it. McCain's office did not immediately respond.

Republicans need to contact their Republican senators who voted for this crapola, and tell them how disappointed they are in them.

Unfortunately I don't have Republican Senators but just gave Schumer and Gillibrand a piece of my mind. They should all be held accountable.

To some (way too many), the only allowable sex is missionary position, no full nudity and nevermind about pleasing your wife. Oral sex is disgusting and NEVER to be performed even if, as you noted, you AND your wife greatly enjoy it. I recall a then-middle aged guy from my church (back in the fifties/very early sixties) taking pride in saying he’d never even seen his very own wife naked. Couldn’t understand it then, still can’t.

But, as they say, to each his own. Just DON’T EVER TRY TO COME BETWEEN ME AND MY WIFE with such inane and STUPID bullbleep. It’s one thing to loathe (as I do) even the very thought of two guys doing each other and keeping such perversion out of my Marine Corps and the rest of the military. It’s quite another to even DREAM of criminalizing consenting behaviors between husband and wife. So those bluenoses need to get a life (OF THEIR OWN) to control. Leave military husbands and wives alone.

There is (and can be) NO SUCH LEGITIMATE interest. Not between husband and wife. Not involving CONSENTING behavior between them. I can understand and approve of keeping open homosexuals out of the services. I can even understand and approve of keeping sexual activity AT HOME, IN THE BEDROOM, and not in some public venue, as one poster, in her ignorance, suggested. But to assert some proper and legitimate government interest in private sexual behaviors of husband and wife is beyond absurd. Even unmarried individuals, when in private, are NOT proper targets of government snooping.

Don’t like McCain, never have, but I can’t fault him. It was probably inserted through the back door (heh), in the middle of some really boring statut-ese boiler plate. I’ve sometimes had to read really dull regulations and found myself falling asleep or fogging out. But he has people who should have been on the lookout for hot-button stuff like that and alerted him, and who should have divided the reading between them to avoid that sort of white-line fever fatigue.

So, language legalizing pedophilia and promoting NAMBLA to Cabinet-level status could`ve been included in that bill and it would`ve sailed right on through to passage.

Un-effing-believable.

So, if a straight soldier is forcibly raped by two queers, he`ll have no true recourse.. it would be simply a “he said-they said” stalemate.

Though I retired from the AF in 2004, I have strongly recommended against entering the military to young adults considering it. The cultural degradation gripping the country at large has now afflicted the Armed Forces. It kills unit cohesion and with it, our troops.

And to think the Republicans could`ve stopped this in the lame-duck session, but a whole handful of them marched to the PC tune.

Right, but that has zilch to do with this, because no language was substituted to replace it. It`s a complete removal of the text.

I’m not sure I believe him. There were articles warning of the language.

I agree with you. And while I agree with the idea of the Defense of Marriage Act, it’s the same thing. There is nowhere in the Constitution that gives the government the power to legislate on moral issues.

With John McCain and 92 other RINO and Demonrat senators voting their approval of legalizing sodomy and bestiality in the millitary, several new words have now been established and defined for use by the American people.

SENATORNICATE. tr. v. sen a tor' ni cate Definition: To promote, encourage, and engage in sexual relations in one or more depraved ways with one or more animals, or mutually with other senatornicators, either in public or private. senatornicates, senatornicating, senatornicated

SENATORNICATION. n. sen a tor' ni ca' shun Definition: The act of senatornicating.

SENATORNICATOR. n. sen a tor' ni ca tor Definition: A United States Senator or a person who acts like one.

SENATORNICATIVE. adj. sen a tor' ni ca' tive Definition: Of or relating to senatornication or the activities of a senatoricator or what goes on in the United States Senate.

The various and perverse kinds of senatornication can be described by using a United States Senator's name as an adverb or adjective, e.g., "McCainly senatornicating"; "Franken senatornicator", etc.

It was your job to know, John McCain.

You are lying about reading the bill (or lying about not knowing it was in there), large font isn't that hard to miss.

You should have gone to prison and been tossed out of the military.

I was in the military too, and have never put my thing where it doesn’t belong.

I understand that there are degenerates in the military, but that doesn’t make it right.

You should have gone to prison and been tossed out of the military.

Start tossing out every member of the military who ever got a hummer and you're going to have a total military force of about half a dozen.

And they'd all be p******

Good for you! The lib politicians do ignore us, though, so when I contact them, I sometimes back it up with a letter to the editor telling readers that I called them and why. When I emailed, I copied and pasted my short email, and the newspaper printed it.
