It is truly amazing just how stupid people are.

People just don’t have a clue on who Gingrich really is.

Gingrich is a socialist HARD-CORE.

His lobbying firm on K-Street handled more than 100 million in lobbying money to get Obamacare approved!!!

He says he is a Roosevelt Republican...the very man who started the Progressive party in our country and a GOP president who didn’t think Americans should own property!!!

Once again the GOP is doing it again...with our nomination you get to choose from Progressive A or Progressive B.

This is our last chance. Make a stand!!!

If Tea Party is about fiscal discipline, Newt's not a bad choice. He's worked to balance the federal budget unlike anyone else running, his tax plan is deliberately not revenue neutral to ensure the beast can't be fed at the rate it demands even now, he has proposal for hundreds of billions in reform, restructure and replacement, he describes himself as a "cheap" hawk and has proposals to shift more responsibility back to the states and localities. He has a keen understanding of the nation's history, including its founding.

Since there's no formal Tea Party, and the movement has been twisted to mean all things to all users of the phrase, it may just be another sham populist uprising that will wither and self-defeat like Perot's Reform Party.

Instead of it being focused on fiscal sanity and limited constitutional federal gov't, it's hijacked into all kinds of other areas like social policy which dilutes and distracts from its focus.

My question about Newt is whether he'll be a focused and disciplined president. If he can achieve his potential, he could be pretty great. If he falls short, we could be mired and listless. No matter if it's a GOP president or four more of Obama (as is my belief) the critical election will be the Congress.

The author is just repeating yesterday's bullsh!t from jonah goldberg. He may get the vote of many TEA Party activists... but he is in no way TEA Party material.

Seems like projecting to me. In my view, Newt has not sealed the deal. Once the inevitable tearing down of Newt occurs over the next month, I wonder what we’ll be left with. Mittens and.....?

As both my first and second choice are no longer in the picture for the nomination, I’m willing to consider other conservatives. I think it’s going to boil down to: which one of the remaining candidates when the Virginia primary comes up is the closest to reflecting my own political views. And to hades with trying to handicap the horserace.

If Newt happens to survive and become the nominee, I would plan to vote for him in the general. But we’re nowhere near that point yet. And I probably won’t vote for him in the primary in any case; there are other candidates that I agree with more.

Newt and the Tea Party have nothing in common, I question the notion of Tea party Support.

I don’t know who or IF Sarah will endorse, but the significant leaders of the Palin effort in Iowa have recently signed up for Newt.

Everyone knows the only real conservatives are Bachmann and Santorum.

Gingrich and Santorum would be good on foreign policy, not near as scary as having RINOS Romney or Perry or even conservative Bachmann on foreign policy.

Santorum and Gingrich and Bachmann would be good on economic policy and Romney and Perry would ruin this nation, economically.

Santorum and Bachmann would be good on social policy, Gingrich is questionable, but Romney and Perry are proven atheistic socialist secularist in policy, though strangely enough they “claim” to be religious and ethical privately...their public policies have clearly in opposition.

My choice is Santorum, Bachmann and Gingrich...in that order. I will never put my name on a vote for Perry or Romney.
