Sandusky's wife defends husband in sex abuse case

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) -- The wife of ex-Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky said Thursday her husband is innocent of the child sex abuse allegations made against him and that his accusers are making up their stories, including one suggesting she was home while Sandusky attacked a boy who screamed for help.

Dottie Sandusky's comments defending her husband were the first she has made since Sandusky was arrested last month and accused of molesting boys he met through a charity he founded for troubled youth. He faces more than 50 charges and has maintained his innocence.

She released the statement through her husband's lawyer a day after a grand jury report detailed claims of two new accusers, among them the testimony of one who said he cried out for her help while Sandusky assaulted him in a basement bedroom.

"I am so sad anyone would make such a terrible accusation which is absolutely untrue," she said. "We don't know why these young men have made these false accusations, but we want everyone to know they are untrue."

10 of them already.

Isn’t one of them an adopted son or something?

BTW—he had FOUR adopted sons.....and one daughter. I heard there may be a molested grandson.

If this stuff is true-—and studying homosexuals and pederasty for so long, I bet it is....because many homosexuals have no morality whatsoever. When they rationalize their sick vile sexual acts as “good”—they can rationalize anything as “good”. They are narcissists and only care about themselves and their lust.

I think the financial motive is it too, remember all the enablers who covered for Michael Jackson to keep their jobs.

Been around enough cases, this is fairly standard. To own up to the fact that her husband is a homosexual child molester at this point shines the light on her own failures.
Thus she denies what she really knows.........

I have no clue whether or not these stories are true. But there is something about this particular accusation of the victim that he was screaming while the wife was in the house - and her denial - that reminds me of the Massachusetts Day Care child abuse hysteria of the 1980’s. The massive publicity and the absolute conviction of everyone involved that the accused are scum bags and guilty as hell. And the ever more outlandish allegations just give me a little pause. Don’t forget in the end most of the convictions in the Day Care cases were overturned.

Actually, there was a modern day witch hunt back in the 80’s, where ambitious prosecutors literally destroyed the lives of countless innocent people. And a complicit media, more or less, convicted innocent men and women in advance of their trials. The two most infamous were the Little Rascals day care center in North Carolina and the McMartin Pre School in Calfornia. I remember the Little Rascals case began because of a vengeful parent. All the kids at the school vehemently denied they were sexually abused. The experts immediately claimed “denial” was a sign abuse had actually occurred. I remember multiple teachers both male and female and even a school cook were accused of being involved. I don’t know if Sandusky is guilty or not, but the media has convicted him, Paterno and everyone else allegedly involved at Penn State.

good point. if she truly admitted what is so very clear to the rest of us, it means her life with him has been a facade and a lie in most every way. not that I have a lot of empathy for her denial, but I can appreciate the gravity of what that means for her and for the lie she has been living with for all these years right under her roof. People like Sandusky are scary that way.

Do you know of any normal person who actually saw a guy anally raping a child in the shower who would just walk away and not try to stop it?

that is much more likely especially if the person has power and influence over his job and is well regarded by those who could fire you or ruin your career. Rather than all these complaints being filed over one innocent (in post you insinuate he could be innocent that is—and Eric Holder could be a conservative Republican—NOT!) man who was seen anally raping a child. HMMMM.

And the guy who allegedly saw the anal rape also recently claimed he notified the cops at the time- which apparently wasn’t true. I just remember the Little Rascals case where, the more the kids denied the abuse, the more insistent the “experts” were they had been abused. After enough sessions with these “experts”, the children themselves became convinced they’d been raped. They, too, swore up an down it happened.
