Done shopping at Macy’s until this is changed. I am sick and tired of being told that abnormal is normal and normal is abnormal.
If you have a penis, use the men’s.
I never shopped at Macy’s and this make me more determined not to give them my business !
I’ve already responded to Macy’s CEO telling him that if the saleslady is not reinstated we’re crossing Macy’s off our shopping list.
My wife would be very upset if upon entering the ladies fitting room at Macy’s she’d find a homosexual imbecile.
Exactly. The most insightful quote in the article comes from the attorney of the group representing the fired Macy’s employee”
To me, its a liability waiting to happen. Its just a matter of time that a man goes into a female fitting room and watches women undress or, even worse, rapes a woman.
I would hope Macy’s risk management people understand this and get the store’s policy changed.
So many Americans favor Macy’s policies, however, because they see themselves as “tolerant” and “open-minded.”
Public places will just have to add a third choice of restrooms:
LADIES
MEN
NOT SURE
Ignorant and soft headed is more like it.
The store's policy also needs to be changed.
By the way, I was trying some clothes on at J. Crew, and was disconcerted to have to put up with a young man sitting outside the dressing room while his girlfriend tried on clothes. I guess a lot of the stores have unisex dressing rooms. But with only women salespeople, how would this work if some sociopath was operating in the dressing rooms?
This will just result in stores eliminating fitting rooms. They are a big headache for them anyway. Staffing them, putting back all the clothes, and theft. Now this? It will be easier just to eliminate the problems by getting rid of these rooms.
Thanks so much for the info! I just fired off an email to these creeps. I’m also cutting up my Macy’s credit card.
I’m sick to death of gay activists pushing women around.
It will be interesting to see if the popular TX Workforce Commission denies her unemployment comp, assuming she has worked the necessary time to collect.
Actually, she was fired for standing up for ME! Macy's doesn't consider how I feel about trying on clothes or standing and having alterations being made and a man come in to the dressing area.
I go to certain stores to shop so I don't have to deal with the unisex dressing arrangements. Looks like Macy's won't get any business of mine...
But then only the guy from Idiocracy can use the third one!
I think the difference with stores like The Gap and J. Crew is that the dressing rooms are modernized. They are more public that Macy’s, very well lit and often with locks on the doors and floor-to-ceiling walls. Macy’s, on the other hand, are dimly lit and in the far reaches of the store - ripe for trouble.
But I well understand your discomfort having a young man sitting right outside your door!!
