Lee said the GOP treads lightly when it comes to filibustering judicial nominations, in part, for fear of antagonizing Democrats in the event that Republicans win the majority. That is foolishness. The dems always "Bork" our judges.

...and thats precisely why they say this weeks filibuster of D.C. Circuit Court nominee Caitlin Halligan is not a harbinger of a freeze on President Barack Obamas judicial nominations. Until the next one.
Democrats blocked Reagan's appointments. Republicans blocked Clinton's appointments. Democrats blocked Bush's appointments and now Republicans are blocking Obama's. Anyone who thinks that the Democrats won't block the next Republican president's appointments are deluding themselves.
