When 9-11 happened, I watched the heroes run into the building to save people, I watched them working hours on end well past the point of exhaustion trying to save whoever may have been left alive. I watched all of this with my heart in my throat and thought WE produce people like this.

Perry MUST capture the imagination of those of us who want a much smaller Federal Government by FREQUENTLY (MSM needs fuel 24/7), releasing portions of his Government reduction plan in a manner that “gets him above the noise.”

His previous statements on Soc.Sec. Ponzi scheme is an excellent example of how to “get above the noise.”

Thanks for the hotlink. Lots of people will never read, or study up on Rick Perry. They will form their opinions on Perry from what they hear from their peers, and from the MSM.

To break out of the dull roar of the MSM-controlled COURT OF PUBLIC OPINION, Perry must HIMSELF “break out above the noise.”

The MSM needs fuel 24/7, so Perry needs to FREQUENTLY feed them as HE wants to. Newt is very good at that. Cain reacted to the MSM, and lost. “Lead, follow, or get out of the way” very nicely describes the 3 groups of remaining Candidates.

If Perry wants to lead, then he must do so in a manner that captures OUR imagination. Reagan was a master at that because he always spoke above the heads of the MSM,- - - - he spoke directly TO the people. Nobody does that now, so here is ANOTHER way for Perry to “get above the noise.”

Tell Perry to forget about getting the support of the MSM because they will support the Obamanator regardless of facts and events.

Tell Perry to campaign as if he really did want to be the first US President to significantly downsize the US Federal Government.

Tell Rick Perry to campaign as if he wanted to be the first President since Van Buren to to not have any National Debt. ( it may take Perry 8 years, instead of 4.)

Tell Rick Perry to talk directly to WE, the TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY, and the MSM will grudgingly have to broadcast his speeches.

I'm a she, first off. FNC spun it and flat out lied regarding the 8 justices and you bought it hook, line and sinker. What Perry was talking about was the prayer ban in school. In 1962 vote was 8-1. EIGHT unelected judges...yet FNC spun it and lied to you, he never said 8 justices on the USSC. So you just bought it since you are opposed to Perry. Do some research and quit being gullible and so trusting with the MSM. FNC has become as untrustworthy as the others.

Actually, I'm not opposed to any GOP candidate and today is the first comment I've ever offered about Perry (that I can remember).

While he may be able to deliver pre-written speeches that make people swoon, when talking off the cuff he leaves much to be desired.

I haven't fallen for anything as you claim, I'm merely commenting on what I have actually seen and heard......

Thanks. My husband served two tours. 1967-68, and 1969-70.
He died this past April from what they say was exposure to AO. He suffered greatly from cancer for the last three years. I don’t know if you cry for your loss or if you cry because the pain has finally stopped for him. :(
I don’t think there’s anyway to talk about it until you make that decision.

We only have two candidates on either side who have served their country in uniform.

He has a chapter 6 on 9 unelected judges tell us how to live. 8 justices ruled to ban prayer in public school that is what he was talking about and has even clarified it since the MSM are again making up what he said. I watched that video and he said 8 unelected judges and was speaking of the ban of prayer in public school...again that was the number who ruled to ban prayer.
