Andrew Breitbart Steps Down From GOProud Board After it Outs Perry Advisor
NY Magazine ^ | 12/9/2011 | Andre Tartar

It's not all that surprising that, in the wake of Rick Perry's much-maligned anti-gay ad the other day, the gay conservative group GOPRoud ended up at the center of the ensuing media storm, fielding requests from reporters left and right. Except it seems that the group's director and chairman (inadvertently, they claim) created a gay-bashing brouhaha of their own by letting slip the true sexual orientation of Tony Fabrizio, a top strategist on the governor's presidential campaign. In an e-mail to the rest of the board — acquired by the Daily Caller — GOProud leaders Chris Barron and Jimmy LaSavlia defended themselves, basically by claiming that Fabrizio's in-or-out status wasn't exactly a closely-held secret.

GOProud is not a “gay conservative group”. They are a gay group tasked with promoting the gay agenda in the Republican party.

When one is PROUD of being gay, THAT will be what defines him or her......NOTHING else.

I know many fiscally conservative, church-involved, celibate, disinterested in redefining marriage homosexuals.

You live in a very unusual place. If they're celibate and conservative, why do the identify as "gay" and why do they tell other people? Sounds....odd.

It should be easy to prove. Just find articles written by or about such conservative non-homosexual agenda pushing homosexuals.

Not to quibble, but the PROUD part of their name refers to being part of the GOP, not to the gay part.

Now, I’m sure there is a little of both - but just sayin........

“Well geez. His gay sister is way old news. What would have been news is if she supported Newt.”

Agree. And to me, at least, lesbos are TOTALLY different from gays. Lesbos are basically feminists making a political point, and they’ll hop in the sack tomorrow with the right guy and even get married and live a normal life...if they want to.

Gay guys are disgusted by women (as opposed to us FReepers who are only disgusted by feminists), and will never get in a relationship with them.

So Newt having a sister who is a lesbo, today, doesn’t mean squat to me. It just tells me that she doesn’t agree with his politics and is using the lesbo card to get attention.

“If that staffer supports getting .gov funds, restricting prayer in school, forcing our servicemen and women to bunk with gays, or trying to base his foreign policy on which country is the most queer-friendly, then yes, Perry has a problem.”

If Perry, dread the thought, did somehow make it to the White House, this gay strategist could be our next education secretary, or whatever job he can find to have contact with little kids. It should be a factor.

Hmmm:

Here’s the GOProud homo-nazi, non-conservative agenda. Nothing conservative except the right to bear arms and a token nod to lower taxes, but they want tax money used for pro-”gay” rights crap, so their nod to lower taxes means nothing. I don’t have the link to their site any more (lost all my bookmarks) and IIRC they did slightly change their agenda a while later.

GOProud’s Conservative Agenda

The so-called “gay agenda” is defined by the left through a narrow prism of legislative goals. While ****hate crimes and employment protections may be worthy goals****, there are many other important priorities that receive little attention from the gay community. GOProud’s agenda emphasizes conservative and libertarian principles that will improve the daily lives of all Americans, but especially gay and lesbian Americans.

1 - TAX REFORM - Death tax repeal; ****domestic partner tax equity****, and other changes to the tax code that will provide equity for gays and lesbians; cut in the capital gains and corporate tax rates to jump start our economy and create jobs; a fairer, flatter and substantially simpler tax code.

2 - HEALTHCARE REFORM - Free market healthcare reform. Legislation that will allow for the purchase of insurance across state lines - expanding access to ****domestic partner benefits****; emphasizing individual ownership of healthcare insurance - such a shift would prevent discriminatory practices by an employer or the government.

3 - SOCIAL SECURITY REFORM - Bringing basic fairness to the Social Security system through the creation o f**** inheritable personal savings accounts.****

4 - DON’T ASK, DON’T TELL REPEAL - ****Repeal of the military’s Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy.****

5 - HOLDING THE LINE ON SPENDING - Standing up for all tax payers against wasteful and unneccessary spending to protect future generations from the mounting federal debt.

6 - FIGHTING GLOBAL EXTREMISTS - Standing strong against **** radical regimes who seek to criminalize gays and lesbians****. [even Muslim ones?]

7 - DEFENDING OUR CONSTITUTION - Opposing any **** anti-gay federal marriage amendment****.

8 - ENCOURAGING COMMUNITY ENTREPRENEURSHIP - Package of free market reforms to encourage and support small businesses and entrepreneurship *****in the gay community****.

9 - REVITALIZING OUR COMMUNITIES - A package of urban related reforms; expanding historic tax preservation credits (that is lowering taxes? Giving money to “old towns” where a lot of homosexuals buy properties...); support for school choice.

10 - DEFENDING OUR COMMUNITY - Protecting 2nd amendment rights

I have no idea where you got that BS, but it’s not from their website.

Like I said, tell us where (and how) you get the gay inside info. You clearly are obsessed with them (any particular reason you’re LITTLE Jeremiah?).

Go away. You bore me. I am adamantly opposed to the gay agenda, but I will not race you to the bottom of the barrell for the prize of the biggest and most obsessed gay hater award. You win. Ain’t you PROUD.

I copied that agenda list directly from their website a year and a half or two years ago. The only addition I made is this:

(that is lowering taxes? Giving money to “old towns” where a lot of homosexuals buy properties...)

And the asterisks. It’s directly from their site, copied and pasted. If anyone can use the Wayback Machine they can find it exactly as above. You accuse me of lying and I am not lying whatsoever

I laugh with derision at being called an obsessed gay hater. That kind of crap is directly from the homosexual agenda activist talking point list for the last two or three decades. Now you’re insinuating that I’m a homosexual, another standard talking point to shut up those opposed to the fascist tyranny of the homo agenda.

Well, you can’t shut me up because your insults and innuendo merely reveal your pro-homosexual agenda bias since you prate their talking points.

You made the claim:

I don’t think all homosexuals subscribe to the radical political agendas of the “gay community”.

So since that is your opinion, you must be basing it on some evidence. If you make a claim, it's your responsibility to back up your claim. It's not my responsibility to prove you right, or wrong. There should be plenty of articles on non-MSM places by conservative homosexuals decrying the "gay" agenda if you are correct. A simple search should find them. Go ahead!

And I'm sure that not each and every single homosexual is in agreement with the "gay" agenda, but they would be a tiny insignificant minority. I've never read of any.

There's nothing good about any of this. 1.) Breitbart should never have been on the board of such a despicable group. 2.) That Perry has a homosexual high up in his campaign means that he doesn't vet his people very well. As other Republicans have learned, homos in high positions are the source of many if not most damaging leaks to the media.

Let's get real here, people. If you are going to be conservative, you can't go soft on the homo agenda. If you do, it will bite you in the arse. And I mean that figuratively.

Wouldn’t “gay conservative” be an oxymoron?

Nope. I'm a gay conservative. Totally happy.

Now sodomite conservative--that would be an oxymoron.

You were the only one raising the issue of rating the sins.

According to Paul in Romans, anyone who keeps on with any of them is not going to make it to the Kingdom of God.
