Andrew Breitbart Steps Down From GOProud Board After it Outs Perry Advisor
NY Magazine ^ | 12/9/2011 | Andre Tartar

It's not all that surprising that, in the wake of Rick Perry's much-maligned anti-gay ad the other day, the gay conservative group GOPRoud ended up at the center of the ensuing media storm, fielding requests from reporters left and right. Except it seems that the group's director and chairman (inadvertently, they claim) created a gay-bashing brouhaha of their own by letting slip the true sexual orientation of Tony Fabrizio, a top strategist on the governor's presidential campaign. In an e-mail to the rest of the board — acquired by the Daily Caller — GOProud leaders Chris Barron and Jimmy LaSavlia defended themselves, basically by claiming that Fabrizio's in-or-out status wasn't exactly a closely-held secret.

That is true. It all depends on how Perry handles this, as I’ve outlined above.

No idea what Tony Fabrizio’s timeline with the Perry camp is. Just know that Fabrizio objected to the ad before it was released and then he is suddenly outed. I saw the actual tweets on HuffPo. Nasty stuff.

>> Not necessarily, but Activist, gay conservative might be another story.
Even us old homophobes have to recognize, that part of being conservative is not getting too involved in telling others how to live. They may well have a high regard for the conservative principal of everybody is endowed with the right to pursue happiness so long as it doesn’t step on somebody else’s right to their pursuit.
The most annoying trait of Liberal Activists to insist on imposing their view of the world on others. >>

As a “flaming heterosexual” - I agree with you 100%. And that’s the proper answer to that question.

LOL! You *do* know! I play golf AND work in design. So, yeah, I hear both sides of the fence too.

LOL, I think my late husband would have had a good laugh at that one.

Yeah. This stuff is very sad. Conservative gays always get the shaft (you should pardon the expression).

I do recommend two sites for those interested: Hill Buzz and Gay Patriot. These are two conservative web sites that fight the “gay agenda.” As someone who is close to some gay people, I do know that some of them hate the radical, anti-American, pro-Jihadist Left.

Agreed. And some in the gay community believe in vindictive outings against those who do not support the gay agenda. It is a weapon of submission.

On one hand, someone’s sexual orientation/proclivities should be private... on the other hand, if you buy into all the hype/TV shows/religious leaders/etc, this shouldn’t be a big deal... so which is it?

************************************

It's wrong for the reasons that homosexuals do it.

From Wikipedia:

Gabriel Rotello, once editor of OutWeek, called outing "equalizing", explaining, "what we have called 'outing' is a primarily journalistic movement to treat homosexuality as equal to heterosexuality in the media...In 1990, many of us in the gay media announced that henceforth we would simply treat homosexuality and heterosexuality as equals. We were not going to wait for the perfect, utopian future to arrive before equalizing the two: We were going to do it now.

That's what outing really is: equalizing homosexuality and heterosexuality in the media."

Let the gaygames 2012 begin!

I need to go see what this guy looks like.

I keep my ear to the ground so that I can tell freepers what the Left, gay and queer, Hollywood/Broadway agenda is up to (it’s not always obvious). They generally do not appreciate it, lol, but I’m gonna keep it up.

That’s why I stop in at Hillbuzz and GayPatriot. Tammy Bruce is another one for exposing the gay mafia. I leave it to the experts. ;)

You are very cool! I love Tammy Bruce - she tells it like it is. Camille Paglia, although she’s been quiet in recent years, was another who took it to the militant gay agenda.

Outing is so gay! Good on Breitbard.

You might be surprised how many homosexuals are involved in politics. Almost as many as philandering womanizers!

You would be hard-pressed to find one GOP presidential candidate who doesn’t have one homosexual on his/her campaign staff. OK, maybe Michelle. The candidate may or may not know of the orientation. So long as they keep their sexual orientation to themselves, and don’t advance the homosexual agenda, it should be irrelevant.

Looks like he was one of the CPAC gays we had a hard time figuring out. Oh, well. They're here, they're queer and if they had to be 'outed', then they are obviously don't-ask-don't-tell people.

GOProud (an organization I do not like) claims that he was “out.” Who knows?

Interesting photo. This is not the same person I saw in one of the articles I read. He was probably misidentified.

Is Matt Drudge fully out yet, or just still half-gay. He and Coulter did get it on for a while, you know.
