“BTW, if Perry keeps debating, he may get better. I give him a B+ tonight. He has money enough to stay in after Santorum and Bachmann go home.”

How did he measure up to Newt? Do you think it could be a Newt v. Perry showdown?

The gop candidates are fools for participating in this debate. George S. is Rahm Emanual’s sock puppet.

I thought Diane Sawyer was even worse.

She sounded drunk, and she kept sliding around in her chair as if she was having a hemorrhoid problem.

Pre-debate vodka enema, perhaps?

....."Do you think it could be a Newt v. Perry showdown?"....

Ahhh,....no. He will never be that good. I was just observing that he didn't have a brain freeze and made some cogent thoughts. That's a long way from a Newt type performance. If we want to smear Obama into the pavement, Newt can do that half asleep. The Newt haters can spin and spin, but Newt just needs a chance to respond to fix it. They will end up with Newt derangement syndrome before it's over.

Before it is over Perry may be still standing because he has the money. Romney will stay in because the establishment has crowned him the frontrunner even if he gets to 5%.

I can just see it on Brett Baier's show this coming week....

You guys missed that by a mile. Krauthammer said "...being Romney he chose the middle path. He chose wrong."
