WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama and his family are attending a worship service at a church just across the street from the White House where presidents frequently have visited.
The president, first lady Michelle Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia made the short walk across Lafayette Park to St. John's Church.

Rev Wright’s new church?
Hmmmm....must be getting closer to elections.
No matter why he went there, hearing the Word of God will do him good. The Law reminds us of our need for a Savior. The Gospel shows us that Savior, Jesus the Christ. I would rather the President hear than not. He’s got enough problems with an inflated sense of self and being surrounded by sycophants. Maybe he will hear, and be saved.
The last time he went to church—iirc, the same one—we later learned they had a guest Islamic speaker in the pulpit. It’s not likely to happen the same way twice, but the odds of hearing the Gospel in a church that hands the pulpit over to Muslims isn’t likely either.
May God bless and keep Obama and his Czars...

OMG!! Now we KNOW he’s in trouble with the voters!!
Well remember that he just celebrated Hanukkah two weeks early so maybe today was the obligatory Christmas church go. Get it all out of the way so the vacation can begin.
Now that he’s low in the polls-—Obama is going to church—I would be more impressed if he went to Rev. Wright’s church or a Mosque.
He’s hanging around NASCAR and the military a lot lately too. He must be trying to convince the Americans in this country that he deserves a second term and knows that the foreigner vote won’t get it done this time. Hopefully, they aren’t falling for it.
I have worshipped in that church.
Is there a putting green in the basement?
One of the pews at the Episcopal church has a small brass plaque designating it as “The President’s Pew.” Church history claims that every president since the nation’s fourth chief executive, James Madison, has visited.*****
I would say the “President’s Prayer Rug” would be more appropriate.
I thought he did not want to Cause a Distraction at Churches? Elections are Real transformative are they not? sort of like Fox Hole Conversions,Hang around with the Military,Go to Church,wow I believe Obama is a Evangelical War Monger Now

If they read the Bible, that in itself is God’s Word. It matters less about the sermon.
