Joe those who have poked the hyena numerous times will be gifted with a bullet to the head most likely upon apprehension in front of family and friends to get their point across.

This suggests to me that the Congressional dems have been convinced by Obama that there will not be another election. Unless “belligerent act” is specifically defined somewhere else in the act.

"Belligerent act" could be Occupy Wallstreeters, defecating in the street to a logical, law-abiding person. However, I didn't see any definition.

Still....military used against an American citizen in Amerika?

This is pretty scary stuff....

If a judge doesn’t put a restraining order on it (or whatever they call it when they keep a law from going into effect until the courts can decide whether it is Constitutional) before the world economy collapses and/or Israel attacks Iran, it really doesn’t matter (for all practical purposes) what the 5th and 14th Amendments have to say about it.

Considering the way the Euro is looking, Obama may only have to “convince” (cough) one judge to refuse to put the law on hold until the case can be heard and decided. Nothing more could be done about it until that court decides the case and it is appealed to a different court.

And if the communist-Islamist revolution doesn’t materialize before a judge can actually decide the case, judging by the way the eligibility lawsuits have gone, I’d say there’s nobody who would have standing to sue over the constitutionality of the law anyway, since nobody has been materially harmed by it yet and as long as it harms everybody equally, it’s legally considered nobody’s business.

Of course, if a case isn’t about Obama’s eligibility there’s a different standard for “standing”, so it all really depends on what the judges want to do. The rule of men, not the rule of law. And that makes EVERYTHING vulnerable. Nothing is solid when it stands so precariously on the whims of a few people in black robes.

Ruling class is setting the stage for martial law, and eventually to invite foreign troops on U.S. soil, all in the name of security. Collapse is coming. They know people will be p*ssed and coming after them. This is the ruling class efforts at control, ripping the Constitution to shreds. They could care less. RepubliCON or DemRAT doesn’t matter. And they just put themselves on the One hundred heads list when the SHTF. Unintended consequences, what a b*tch eh?

THE FOLLOWING IS A FICTIONAL DRAMATIZATION OF A PRESS CONFERENCE BY PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA, ADDRESSING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, FROM THE EAST ROOM OF THE WHITE HOUSE
It takes place in the future, December 2012, when the SHTF, banks close, martial law declared, retirement/401k accounts taken, dollar sinks, etc.

It’s an accurate portrayal of how a talking head from the government would calmly institute tyranny in the face of collapse. It uses Zero’s talking points. It’s a long speech but chilling!

Do you remember what the stansberry guy was quoting of what Bill Gross said..? Something like, 'if you could take one idea away from this, it would be...'

An obvious getcha plug but I'm curious.

I've been describing this reserve currency, oil dollars, inflation debacle to anyone with even moderate intellect. Few know what to make of it other than they're out of their league when contemplating the variables.

You are right, this is really bad. It was also approved by all but 3 Republicans. McCain was one of the authors and Graham had some positive statements concerning the suspension of Habeus Corpus. The Dems have done the same thing. This is not merely the actions of a president you hate ( I am no fan ) and it is pretty much in line with some of the dirtier aspects of the Patriot Act and the Telecom/NSA domestic spying activity that started prior to 9-11. This is also a perfect example of the MSM failure to inform.
Perhaps its time to lift heads from the ever-so-distracting left / right dogfight and acknowledge this boat has been on this course for a long time. Our liberties are almost gone. Or...you can just bury your head again and spool up the hate.

amen, brother we've disagreed on what our civil rights are for so long that the scum "we" elect can sneak them out from under us. while each side fights viciously to pass laws against the other, we ignore the actual threat. don't let even justified hatred blind you to the facts, people.

I read a number of opinions on this when it was in the Senate that stated that it was intentionally left vague where citizen detention is concerned so that it would pass.

My, how comforting:
