Seven people, including foreign nationals, were killed, and more than a dozen wounded in another blast in Iran, this time at a steel plant. It is not known if the factory has any connection with Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The explosion occurred Monday evening in the city of Yazd and comes after two previous blasts in the area of nuclear facilities. Yazd is located approximately 175 miles southeast of Isfahan, where an explosion severely damaged a uranium enrichment facility last month.

Iranian stage television reported that five people were found dead on the scene at the steel plant and that another two died after being rushed to hospitals.

The official reason for the explosion was the presence of water in steel furnaces.

It is, of course, possible, that some yoyo left water in the steel furnace, but let's let them worry about the alternative.

I would be surprised if it wasn't connected in some way. Why else were foreign nationals on site?

Now if only Saad A’bad, the Iranian Parliament and certain major mosks would spontaneously explode...we might have some good video out of the deal.

Iran may not yet have discovered the importance of ESD devices......

(Electro-Static Discharge devices prevent the build up of static electricity from creating SPARKS)

Launcher factory? Or were they making shell casings?

What nuke components would be made in a steel factory?

After Mumbai I might add Pakistani ISI

Not enough gratuitous violence and killing for ISI. These are as surgical as you can be when using C4 for a scalpel. The facilities are taken out, thoroughly and completely, and nothing else. That kind of concern for collateral damage is a Western thing. Also not one of the attackers has to our knowledge been captured or even identified.

ISI likes bloodbaths. It is what they do best and is usually their first choice of tactics. And usually the ground after the attack is littered with not only the victims but their suicide operatives.

The main reason I exclude the CIA is that the raids have been pulled off flawlessly. The bunglers from Langley might be able to pull off one operation like this by dumb luck, but three in a row without turning over some super secret tech or getting a bunch of their guys killed, no way.

Reactor parts. If you want to build a Plutonium bomb you need a breeder reactor to produce the feed stock. And theirs suffered damage due to STUXNET. So they might have been casting high tolerance valves or rolling replacement pipes for the ones trashed when their controls went haywire. That stuff all has to be super tight tolerances and stainless steel. There aren't that many mills that can produce nuke grade parts, at least not if you want to avoid a Chernobyl situation.
