In fact, Newt's sudden jump in the polls, I think, is that he is perceived as being a straight talker and puts it all out there, unlike the rest of the politicians (read - Romney) that are so careful not to offend.
Don't worry, the Post has plenty of time to take shots at our guy; they just hope it is Romney. He won't hit back as hard as Newt.

The problem is, our numbers are dwindling, and we’re already outnumbered.
Between the job crushing of Democrats/unions, and the rush of corporations to offshore, the middle class is becoming an endangered species.
Don't get your hopes up.... National newspaper websites regularly include "blog" sections now. (Check the URL of this article.) This "anti-Obama" article did not and will not appear in the actual paper, nor is it linked to from the lead page of the WaPo website.
