It looked strange from the moment we pulled up to thePunchbowl, a sacred Hawaiian site once the location for human sacrifice before Cook's arrival to the islands. Our tour bus, filled with 23 WWII Pearl Harbor survivors as part of The Greatest Generations Foundation came to the beautiful location in an old crater above downtown Honolulu for a closing ceremony and presentation. The National Cemetery of the Pacific pays tribute to those veterans of all faiths who served their country, many who lost their lives during WWII.

They very likely could have adjusted their shooting schedule. They didn't think about the 70th anniversary of Pearl Harbor; and being in a military cemetery?
Good ones.
Thanks for posting those, TF. They’ve been around awhile, but always give a thumping good laugh and a bit of a lump in my throat for what a damn wonderful country I live in.
Beautiful!
I would bet that the cast themselves were not aware of all this going on. It was probably just the self-important crew messing things up.
Shame on CBS. What a bunch of worthless freaks. I watched my last “Five 0” and CBS unless a FULL apologize is published and shown during “50”.

This does sound like the type of environment to host the Obamaos for their taxpaid vacay. Obama didn't show up or acknowledge these Veterans and the 70th anniversary Pearl Harbor Memorial service. But he and wifey sure have it in them to show up for their own beach time there now don't they?
Here’s there lame apology:
