Romney has rattled Romney. Romney has gone negative in ads in Iowa, and it’s costing him support. No voter in Iowa wants to see a politician get down and dirty. Romney’s greatest enemy is his own past.

Why did Romney suddenly decide to go negative, though?

Seems to me that he dealt with all of the others who passed him in the polls with with an attitude of being above the fray. Now, it seems to me that the rise of Newt has knocked him off of his game plan a little.

This is just the way I see it... I haven't completely settled on a candidate yet, but am admittedly leaning towards Newt. I will support the Republican nominee against Obama, but I don't have little altars or shrines built to any one candidate. (Not saying YOU do...)
