As Secretary of State Hillary Clinton welcomes Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu to Washington this week, it is critical that Americans pay attention to what these two leaders intend to do. From 12 to 14 December 2011, working teams from the Department of State (DoS) and the OIC are going to discuss implementation mechanisms that could impose limits on freedom of speech and expression.
The OIC's purpose, as stated explicitly in its April 2011 4th Annual Report on Islamophobia, is to criminalize "incitement to hatred and violence on religious grounds." Incitement is to be defined by applying the "test of consequences" to speech.

I will be a second Mohammed to this generation whose motto, in treating for peace, was 'the Alcoran [Koran] or the Sword,' so shall it be eventually with us, 'Joseph Smith or the Sword. - This statement by Joseph Smith is from the sworn affidavit of Thomas B. Marsh on October 24, 1838, who was a first hand witness of the prophets remarks shortly before. Up until this time, Marsh had been President of the LDS "Quorum of Twelve Apostles".
Even recent LDS mormon leaders openly brag about being more like Islam than Christianity:
On the evening of 911 my mind was filled with many thoughts. Near the top was........ “kill them all and let God sort it out”.
My thinking hasn’t changed.
Doubtless, HillBilly will agree. But, here's the problem - what about the "defamation" of other religions - by Islam??
Inquiring minds, HillBilly, inquiring minds . . . . .
With the first part at least half of all leftest books will be illegal.
The second part what does "...national ... hatred..." mean?
So if someone burns a flag and we watch them do it that is ok. But if we hit them and brake an arm we can throw them into Jail?
No muslim will ever be my countryman. I’ll never trust one, and frankly would prefer the presence of a rabid dog.
Thought this was an interesting tidbit.
Want the right to KILL anyone that Muslims believe has defamed Islamofascism.

Under this twisted perversion of falsely “yelling ‘fire’ in a crowded theater,” it doesn’t matter what someone actually says — or even whether it is true or not; if someone else commits violence and says it’s because of something that person said, the speaker will be held criminally liable.

Thats hate speech. LOL!!!
You may criticise, denigrate, castigate, ridicule or decry the observable aberrances of Islam, and say whatever you like, but you cannot defame it.
Only an adherent can defame it. By behaving badly in gross contravention of its claimed peaceful and noble teachings.
Furthermore, only a Muslim is prohibited (with penalties up to and including death) under Islamic law from defaming Islam. A non-adherent of Islam isn’t bound by Islamic law.
Now, if only the Muslims who are so concerned about the defamation of Islam would do something about it. Like, stopping other Muslims from committing atrocities in their name...
As for “defamation of religion” and “incitement to hate”, wouldn’t a law like that be a “good thing” — if it were enforced upon those Muslims who routinely proclaim Judaism as their “enemy”.
Not only do they incite needless hatred, they also defame themselves by displaying their abysmal ignorance!
