One effect of this is to shore up the manufacturing process and work out any remaining bugs so they can start stamping them out on the cheap for sale to domestic “law enforcement” and/or military pretending to be.

yeah, I’d expect them to try to sell as many as possible before iran hires china to reverse engineer it and start selling cheap knockoffs.
