Seattle police defend actions during Occupy Port protest

Police said during a news conference that the situation was “scary” for officers and that protesters were throwing bricks, flares and bags of paint.

Todays version of the KIRO News story is edited from what I seen last night on the news. Little mention today of the Sharpened Rebar Spears that were thrown at officers.

In this instance, the police should come down hard on the Occupiers. I would like to see these people attempt to occupy, disrupt or invade a Marine base. Just one time.
