I dont like Lowes, but I will go there more now since they have the guts to do this.
What you would see is a liberal view of Muslims that aids the lie of the peaceful Muslim. It would hide the hate they have for Christians, Jews and other non-believers.
There is no peace in Islam; it is a myth. You only have to reflect back on the days after 9/11/2001 to remember the multitudes of Muslim Americans condemning the acts [oops! There weren’t!]
Ummm. Given the state of alleged conservatism now by many of the GOP contenders, and CERTAINLY with establishment Republicanism, that statement is rather self-defeating.
Actually, you have no way of knowing whether most American Muslims are fundamentalists or not. Their quran tells them it is okay to lie to infidels. Likewise, you never see hoardes of Muslims protesting ANY act of violence by their overseas brothers - EVER.

An agency, I’ll agree, but Lowe’s needs to have someone in
an oversight position. If they advertise on Al Jazeera’s
“Rebuilding AlQaeda” show and pull the ads afterwards, is that “good enough”? Not for me.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, Lowes has an advertising division. They hire someone to produce the ads, they review the ads, and they have multiple lists of where the ads play.
They also have staff watching to see that the ads play, and have meetings to discuss the impact of their advertising.
Lowe’s is not some innocent victim here. They know where their ad money is being spent.

I can factually state you're correct. I used to work for Leo Burnett in Chicago. One of our lines of business (which has since been spun off and become StarCom MediaVest) was selling advertising BLOCKS of time. Those blocks of time were allocated to any number of networks and time slots, not necessarily to individual shows.
Often times, our clients would come to us and state they wnated to reach a demographic target, which advertising block packages are designed to do. The majority of time, our clients never asked which specific shows their advertising would be seen on. They would occasionally ask which networks.
As boycotts became more popular, clients would occasionally come back to us and ask us to pull advertising from specific networks, which we could do. Once in a blue moon, they'd come back and ask to pull advertising from a specific show. Our first case of that was Beavis and Butthead on MTV which caused us to re-write significant portions of our media buying and optimization routines to allow for clients to specify any shows they did not want to advertise on.
The "class" you profess to have should one that you can attend and possibly learn something from....you need it.

I believe that some have assimilated since having moved to SE Michigan since the 50’s and ‘60’s. Their kids and grandkids are probably not such hardcore Muslims that they represent a threat to anyone in the region. They may even be considered by extremists in the old country to be infidels themselves for having grown up the way they have.
I don’t believe that all Muslims are hardcore. Some of those women, in the eyes of extremists, might qualify for “honor killing” and when it does happen, they’re no less a victim than anyone else while the murderer is no less a murderer than anyone else.
If All-American Muslim can do anything to enlighten our society it may be to bring about an awareness of the potential for violence towards Muslim women and children in America by Islamic extremists in America or from the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Mexico and Canada.
Obama declares that the war is over and he expects the rest of us to believe it but that was us taking the war to them. What we need to worry about now are developing situations here in the states. If Iraq eventually falls victim to Iranian aggression, we’d have to double or triple down on it all over again. We can’t afford to let our military’s capabilities be diminished. We haven’t yet been able to declare victory and this is not your father’s Vietnam, either.

Sorry, all I needed to know about islam was learned on 9/11 when they were all rejoicing, none came forward to condemn the atrocities of that day.
