A day after a GOP presidential debate, White House hopeful Ron Paul upbraided rival candidate Michele Bachmann for disliking Muslims.
"She hates Muslims," Paul said on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Friday. "She wants to go get 'em."

We all know what Ron Paul is!
This is purely anecdotal, from what I have experienced. I believe that Millenials who voted for Obama, and are now very disappointed with him, are now supporting the 10 lb baby.

Because he wants to win as much of the vote as he can in the general, and the best way he can establish creds is to run on the gop ticket. Interestingly, he seems to be doing pretty well on the gop ticket and he might not run 3rd party if he can come within range of winning the gop nomination. I don’t think that will happen, though, as mittens is already the annointed one.

A Constitutionalist? More willing to cut the size and scope of government than any other gop candidate in the running? OK, I’d agree with you on that.
And what was his slam on Ubama? Has he ever said anything, pro or con, re The One?

Yeah, he could do better at that. But he also has a very long and consistent record of opposition to growth in the size and scope of government and that record is there for anyone to look at. That’s part of the reason for the “crazy” attacks: there just isn’t much in his record that would show that he has done anything other than walk the talk. If you can’t kill your opponent with facts, try to kill them with attacks on their character. Sarah Palin in 2008 being an excellent example of how this works.
And while debates are important, they aren’t everything. RP’s supporters are arguably probably the best organized and most net savvy of the remaining gop candidates.
Aha!! Michelle and Rick, take note. It is past time Wrong Paul gets nailed for what he is.
And, Ron Paul hates sanity, especially on issues like terrorism, drug use, drug abuse, foreign policy, and how 9/11 happened.
I hear ya but as per example at the last debate: made a statement that I thought hell yeah you go and then he said something so far fetched it sounded crazy. The MSM and liberals want him for his antiwar views,he has an appeal but he ruins it with crazy comments.

We’ll see. None of the candidates are perfect. None of those remaining were my top choices so it’s going to be a set of trade-offs anyway.

I have faith in the election system. It’s stressful enough that anyone who is really “out there” will get shaken out unless of course they are the darlings of the lsm.

I’m not even sure about that. Intrade has Newt at $1.35, mittens at $6.52. Which pretty much lines up with what I expect to happen: it’ll be a contest between barky and mittens. And if he decides to run 3rd party, Ron Paul. If those are my choices given what I know today, Ron Paul gets my vote hands-down.

I agree with you on this. I expect he’ll do well in IA and NH, but will not do as well on SuperTuesday. He’ll stay in the race until, oh, March. Then it’s decision time: stay in the gop, or go third party? I believe he’ll go third party. The Libertarian Party has it’s nominating convention in early May, so I expect wee’ll know by early April.

Really? Do you have specific evidence to show that Rep. Paul has some sort of treasonous intentions? Or is this simply more overheated hyperbole from those who disagree with him and fear that he could win?
