Members of the House of Representatives are being told that no holiday greetings, including Merry Christmas, can be sent out in official mail.
According to the Washington Examiner, members who submit official mailings for review by the congressional franking commission that reviews all congressional mail to determine if it can be "franked," or paid for with tax dollars, are being told that no holiday greetings, including "Merry Christmas," can be sent.
"I called the commission to ask for clarification and was told no 'Merry Christmas.' Also told cannot say 'Happy New Year' but can say 'have a happy new year' referencing the time period of a new year, but not the holiday," a Hill staffer who requested anonymity told the paper.

And to top of the war against Christmas and thus war against God, Congressmen are not allowed to use the government frank for Christmas messages to their constituents. THey can use our tax money to send messages to us, but such messages cannot include any dreaded message of Christmas.
WHY ARE THEY ALL SILENT????
Good opportunity for Newt to speak up against this and say what he would have done to resolve this as Speaker.

After the 2012 election is over, 0bama may out himself on several fronts. Win or lose.
How spatial is that concept? Maybe he’ll even have a convesion moment. Or introduce his Mahdi.
Supposedly, House and Senate members are NOT allowed to send "birthday, anniversary, wedding, birth, retirement or condolence messages and holiday greetings" on the taxpayers' dime however they can use personal or party funds for such mailings. If that is truly the case, I don't have a problem with it.
WHO is making these rules?
