The article’s content does not live up to its title.

Who died and made you the custodian of all that is virtuous?

You, mnehring are a dishonest dissembler of the truth and have no sense of what is right. You, and people who think like you are the problem in this country.

Should someone tell semaj, or should I?

Nah. It'll be lost on 'im.

... we have lives outside of FR...

The last refuge of someone who's out of ammo.

David Duke can't be rehabilitated for politics. Not only was he in the KKK, he was a famous KKK leader. He was particularly notorious. Maybe someday he will get religion and repent, but there is no fixing him up now or back then politically.

Funny thing, maybe he should have run for Senate in West Virginia instead.

A life outside of Free Republic? Is that even possible? Why even own a PC?

Who are you? Are you part of my FR fantasy kingdom? What’s your code name? :)

Merry Christmas (from someone who worked the overnight shift last night, and will be leaving for home in an hour).

I will check on the exact statistics on that.
However, if you have a cold, the idea is to stay warm and putting a cap or scarf on your head is another way to keep warm..just like wearing a sweater or warm socks.

Just ask anyone with the flu or a cold, how good it feels also to have something on your head...that can’t be all imaginary. The body knows you are keeping it warm.

But I will check this out.

Byrd got away with it as he was in the KKK in the 40s when southern politicians were often segregationist. He apologized profusely in later years.

That cold temperatures create the human sickness known as a "cold" is another old wives's tale. Our Navy debunked that one decades ago during "Operation Deep Freeze" when a large group of people wintered over south of the Artic Circle."Colds" and other sicknesses were just about nonexistent, even though personnel were exposed to long periods of extreme cold.

Doctors don't know the cause of "colds" beyond that they are caused by viruses. Unfortunately, when patients ask any question similar to "Did I get this sickness from being too cold several days ago", doctors usually respond with the easy out of "probably".

Maybe someone can run a study to determine if bald headed men catch more "colds" than the average Hippie.

Fact is that Duke was right on a lot of the issues and that is why he got the votes. They were conservative issues. Paul was backing another small gov’t man, like he is.Nothing wrong with that.

I wouldn’t like it if Duke wanted to harm Israel. Then I couldn’t support him. But cutting gov’t I’m all for.

Does he not understand that Duke is a full-fledged Nazi?

Both candidates (Edwards and Duke) were eventually jailed by the Feds.

There was not much to cheer for in those days in Louisiana!
