"Mean looks" between groups of teens Tuesday night sparked a confrontation that led to the shooting deaths of two teens, Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer said Thursday. Two other teens -- Jarrad Beard, 19, and his 16-year-old brother -- were arrested after the shootings. Dyer said the brothers, who were booked on two counts of murder each, are gang members. Beard was booked into the Fresno County Jail, while his brother was booked into the Juvenile Justice Center. Before announcing the arrests, Dyer expressed his condolences to the families of shooting victims Justin Hesketh, 18, and Brandon Moore, 16, both of Fresno. Hesketh and Moore were not associated with any gang, police said. "This was a senseless act of violence," Dyer said. "It all stemmed from mean looks, and now two teenagers are dead."

Just imagine the news if the races were reversed . America is terminally ill . Can’t imagine what it’ll be like in 20 years .
The pictures of the punks and victims are at the link. This was two black gang members shooting and killing two white teens. Something to do with mean looks. Allegedly. This should do wonders for race relations in Fresno.
I haven’t looked at the pictures yet, but this does not sound like Latino violence to me. I thought everyone in Fresno was supposed to be afraid of Latinos there? (My 98 year old Mom still lives there, and that is what my relatives say.)

These were college stuents who were shot and killed. The punks shot at thheir truck and the victims jumped out and chased them into their ‘hood on foot and were killed. From the streets mentioned, this occurred almost in Clovis. So, there’s nothing to see here — move along now. s/off
The police chief said that the shooters were both in gangs, had guns, but had no prior records of violence. I feel so much better now. *eye roll* s/off

I have tried to ingrain some sense of reality into my kids that I did not have. Yes, some folks will beat you up or worse if you yell or gesture at them, or if you give them a “mean look”. And my son has luckily got over the phase of doing his wanabe gang hand signals. Not only does it look stupid - especially on a well-groomed white kid - but in certain neighborhoods might give you a whupping.
I wonder if the gang-bangers will end up claiming self defense? And I’m not familiar with the area at all - but I wonder if the college boys were trying to score drugs or something? Not that they should get killed for that obviously - but also not too bright I wouldn’t think.
This was pretty far west of Clovis, near Herndon/99.

Thanks for the correction. I haven’t lived in Fresno for more than 50 years and mis remembered Herndon as a north/south street. Of course, it is an east/west thoroughfare. That area was barren farmland way out in the country when I was growing up. Is that anywhere near the underground house?
But, but, if they hadn't given them "mean looks", it could have been perceived as "disrespectful" and that could end up in violence as well...
Because the perpetrators' thoughts were pure.
And besides, two less honkeys subjugating and suppressing the brothers. What's the big deal?
That was really way, way out of town, and Herndon is several miles farther away.
When I was in high school the Underground Gardens had been abandoned, but we used to pile into several cars and sneak out there at night and explore this marvel. We definitely were NOT supposed to be there, but nobody ever got hurt with these hi-jinks. We were such innocents!
If I ever caught my own kids doing anything like that, they would have been grounded for life. I remember paying more than one visit to the underground gardens where a man had dug out a whole complex with a trowel. He spent his life doing that, and he had planted trees 8-12 feet underground in the desert. He made himself a house down there too. I was amazed 20-25 years later when someone opened the place as a tourist attraction.

Always look for codewords like “senseless” and “random act of violence” when government pigs lie about hate crimes.

Brandon Moore, unfortunately, from looking at his FB profile, comes across as one dumbass, rap sucking, dope smoking, gangsta “wigga” fool.
Justin Hesketh, a college student, much less so, appears to have been more of a geek type.

Leroy just got his new gun and wanted to try it out.
One of the brothers wrote a letter of apology, so that makes it allright.
I too wonder about the white kids and what they were doing in that neighborhood, and how smart can you be to chase down blacks in their own neighborhood especially after they have shot the tire off your car.
They couldn’t tell a gun firing from a thrown rock? and I havent met the man yet that can throw a rock so hard it can puncture my tire.
