I have zero respect for people who announce they won’t vote for this or that candidate.

They will be voting for Obama as surely as if they pulled the lever or punched the card for him.

But then I'm not asking for your respect...

Will you vote for Ron Paul if he is the nominee???

You guys don't seem to learn...I don't get it...With the numbers Perot was getting, it was impossible for Bush to win but yet you guys voted for him anyway...

When McCain ran, there were far better people for America than McCain or Romney in the line up...People told you guys from the beginning that McCain couldn't win...You picked him anyway...

Romney can't win the election if he is the nominee...The real conservatives will dump him in the end...And I can't imagine Newt getting enough crossover Democratic votes to win an election...

If next November Tea Party and Independents are looking at someone outside the GOP box, you guys would do well to reconsider because that guy outside the box will likely be more conservative and pro American than anyone in box anyway...And you could live with him/her in the end...

I know this is not popular on FR but I will vote for Ron Paul or Mitt Romney should they get the nomination.

That said, Rick Perry has the best record to beat Obama with. I actually suggested on a closed Perry site I am a member of that Perry consider Rand Paul for VP.

I don't see any candidate out there who could run as an independent and get my vote though.

Perot had a big grudge against Bush senior. He entered the race to keep him from winning. Of course, I voted for Bush.

And no, I’m not saying I would vote for Ron Paul.

Ron Paul will never, never, never, ever be the nominee.

He has a small, fanatic following that skews the polls.

I’m voting for Perry if it still matters by the time Texas gets to vote (which is ridiculous, by the way).

But I would vote for Ron Paul... I think... or Romney against Obama.

I don’t think even Paul’s foreign policy could be crazier than Obama’s.

Personally, I would have a hard time voting for Paul if he was the nominee, but I don't see that happening. I can 100% tell you that if Romney gets the nomination, I will not vote for Romney.

I know you weren't talking about Perry as being "outside the box", but I've seen a few people claim that and it's downright hilarious. Over 40 people have donated anywhere from $300,000 to $2.5 million to Perry's campaigns over the past 10 years. If you drop the bar down to $200,000 that list goes well over 40 people. You're not an outsider when you have individuals giving you that kind of money - they are investing in you and they are getting a return on their investment, otherwise they would never have made it in the first place.
