This should be an easy GOP pickup. Nelson flushed his chances down the toilet when he supported ObamaCare in return for the Cornhusker Kickback.

He has tried to backpedal for the last two years and has just reached the conclusion that there is no sale.

A few more details from Nebraska Freepers would be appreciated. Traditionally, they have always sent one Democrat (generally comparatively conservative) and one GOP to the U.S. Senate.

That said, Cornhusker Ben makes a total of EIGHT RAT SENATORS are going to “go be with their families.” They all know that it’s over for their majority this coming November and they don’t have the stomach for being in the minority. All these open seats are rated as Tossups or better for the R’s The two retiring Republicans are rated as SAFE R. Now it’s time to also go after the RINOS who are up for re-election starting with “Dick” Lugie and Urine Hatch. Thirty-six years is far too long, even for a RINO.
