Gingrich: I Will Grow Jobs Like Reagan

Great, but will he cut government like a sawmill cuts wood?

I assume your post means you support him?

I’m still torn about him.

Could you please elaborate on your personal reasons for supporting him?

We need to give him a House and Senate to get the job done.

If I see a picture of you meeting with him, and after that, you say you will still vote that way, I'll consider it.

Good press from Fox and good timing to reference Reagan with Art Laffer coming out for Newt tomorrow.

“In 1990, President Bush wanted to raise taxes and I opposed it. We had a huge fight. The majority of Republicans voted no. And this fight still goes on today.”

It sure does. George Herbert Walker Bush confirmed that the other day. He still does not like Newt for opposing him on the tax increase. Maybe this also one of the reasons the RINO establishment is against Newt for President. GO NEWT!

Jim

I’m not sure about this. Newt may be our only choice. But I’m afraid that even 2013 may be too long.

The vote to raise the debt again is the key. We cannot allow it.

How to stop it? I don’t know.

Do any of you?

Looks very much like Newt is probably the ONLY man with enough "piss & vinegar" to step into the midst of the den of thieves & snakes and get any real results in backing them down.

Anyone else would be like casting Martin Short as the lead in the "Terminator".

He’s a genuine pro-life, pro-defense, supply-side Reaganite. A battle scarred veteran warrior of the Reagan Revolution who went on to found and lead the successful Republican Revolution to continue and expand on Reagan’s pro-liberty, pro-America ideas and policies.

He led the effort to take the Republican majority after the Democrats had held it for 40 years. He cut taxes, cut spending, cut regulations, cut unemployment, cut welfare, cut the deficit and balanced the federal budget four years running. All of this ensured that the Reagan economy continued to soar during his term and beyond. He blocked HillaryCare and much of Clinton’s agenda. And he did all of the above under a Democrat president. Not a bad conservative record at all!

But he has warts and stepped on some mighty big toes on the way, including Mr. Read My Lips himself. But I believe he has sought redemption and forgiveness for his real sins and has matured and settled in.

I believe he has plans for drastically cutting taxes, spending, regulations and bureaucratic government, including cutting over a hundred federal welfare programs and returning them to the states and the people, as well as privatizing social security and medicare. And firing all of Obama’s czars, firing EVERYONE at the EPA, reign in the federal reserve and rein in the liberal activist judiciary, and yes, repeal ObamaCare and dismantle the Marxist government.

And he wants to encourage and build on AMERICAN energy, manufacturing, farming, and business and industry of all types. His drastic reductions of bureacracy, regulations, taxes, spending and even restructuring depreciation to allow new equipment to be written off in one year will boost the economy and create an environment for JOBS!

These are not timid or moderate trimming here and there or rearranging the deck chairs. These are radical reductions in the size and scope of government. This is reining in the federal beast, restoring the balance of powers among the three co-equal branches of government, and restoring the states and the people to their sovereign positions per the constitution, ie, the feds do not RULE over us or the states!

He’s a historian and statesman who understands the significance of the founding principle that we were created equal by our Creator (God) and endowed with certain unalienable rights. And believes that these rights are indeed inalienable and wants to undo the wrongs that have been done to us by the liberals and progressives and activist judges and all who have eroded away our constitution and attempted to destroy our God-given Liberty.

And I believe that his record of successful accomplishments says he means business and that he has the ability to continue beyond the successful Reagan Revolution, beyond the successful Republican Revolution and make the Tea Party Revolution the successful revolution we all pray it can be.

The reason the GOP establishment is fearful of Newt is that they know what he is.

First and foremost, Newt Gingrich is an HISTORIAN.

He aided Reagan in cementing Reagan’s place in the history books.

The GOP establishment and the left are terrified that if Newt wins, he will OUT REAGAN Reagan as he would not want to play second fiddle in all future history books.

In 1982, Reagan was talked into a tax increase, I opposed it. Kemp and I led the fight against it. Reagan said it was a mistake; it was the biggest single mistake of his administration.

I thought amnesty was. You can roll back a tax cut.. Not so sure you could strip all those people of their citizenship. Where was Newt on that one?

I don’t have trouble forgiving him for his sins.

I just don’t want him to be a closet globalist RINO.

Sigh.

Much appreciated reading your narrative about his accomplishments. Some I was not aware of or had not thought about in a long time.
