My local paper, the Arizona Republic, which seems to be published by La Raza these days, has even resorted to little kids going door to door. I had a little girl saying her class was saving for a trip to Disneyland (or somewhere) and she could get points if I took a free subscription to the AZ Republic! I turned it down and she looked like she was going to cry. She said, “but it’s free!” and I said, “but I don’t even want it at that price!”

I thank you very much for that. I hope it was worth your time. I worked very hard on it and with risk, but it could have been better. A lot to cover (more to come), but everyone is afraid of Reid so community support was shy and I was blackballed by the papers. Still, this couldn’t have been done at all a few years ago, so conservatives should take heart, the new media does make a difference.

That must have been Nigella Lawson. She sometimes cooks in NYC but mostly in London. So sometimes she’ll give both measurements and sometimes, I guess, she mixes them up!

“Harry: Money Mob & Influence”. I used to work for a normally Democrat political PR firm on the Yucca Mountain project in the early 90s. One guy I worked with was Don Williams, who was Harry Reid’s campaign manager from 1965 through 1975. Don told me (and was polygraphed) that he was Reid’s bagman picking up “bags of cash” from notorious pimp Je Conforte at the Mustang Ranch brothel. Conforte was also hooked to the mob, bought off multiple politicians to get prostitution legalized, and was looking to be approved for a mega casino in the late 70s. Coincidentally, that’s when Harry Reid was chose to head the Gaming Commission and is potrayed by Dicky Smothers in the movie Casino as taking comps from Lefty Rosenthal.

The more you know about Reid, the more sordid it gets up to the present.

Just look up Daxton Brown on Amazon.com Or go to my website here http://www.futurnamics.com/reid.php

Times Co. Agrees to Sell Regional Newspaper Group

The New York Times Company announced on Tuesday that it had reached an agreement to sell the company’s Regional Media Group to Halifax Media Holdings, of Daytona Beach, Fla., for $143 million in cash.

The announcement comes just a week after the Times Company said it was in advanced talks with Halifax to sell its regional media group, which consists of 16 regional newspapers including The Gainesville Sun; The Press Democrat in Santa Rosa, Calif.; The Sarasota Herald Tribune; and The Tuscaloosa News.

snip

Mr. Doctor described the sale price for the regional papers as “incredibly low.”

“That’s saying basically each title is worth about $10 million” on average, he said, “which is just breathtaking when you consider what kinds of profit machines these newspapers used to be.”

In 2010, the Regional Media Group accounted for 11 percent of the company’s $2.4 billion in revenue. The group’s advertising revenue fell 8.2 percent in 2010, to $177 million, according to the Times Company’s 2010 annual report.

Well, they could try the Greek Gambit: go on a general strike for six months shutting down any publication of their paper, and riot in the newsroom, destroying their infrastructure.

That should do the trick.

They should get all their rich lefty friends together and buy it. Looks like $1 billion should give them ownership.

Good idea, but they all want to pay more taxes instead.

Baking recipes have always been in metric weights. Because the density and moisture of ingredients vary and the “chemistry” is much more precise than cooking.

Hardly a communist plot.

But, since Harry Reid is a good Democrat, none of the scandals you mention about him will ever see the light of day in the MSM.

If he were Republican, all of this would have been major scandal years ago, and would have been major issues in Harry’s re-election campaigns over the years. But since he’s a good Democrat, none of that matters.

Now the Times staffers have sent a letter to publisher Arthur Sulzberger expressing "profound dismay" at the direction the company is headed.

Around and around the bowl and eventually down the hole, bye-bye Pinch.
