He now joins the long list of misquoted Republican candidates or candidates who were accused of saying one thing when they really didn’t. You can tell alot about a candidate in how well (or poorly) he or she handles such situations. I’ll be watching that closly.

Who gives a shit about RuPaul? He’s not even a Republican, let alone a conservative! Screw him and the drug addled horse he rode in on. Why can’t we just give this nutbag his walking papers? Do we have to keep giving him so much attention?

I recently read Ron Paul’s Liberty Defined. He is correct on so many of the topics he addressed. He has integrity and is not swayed by public opinion polls. He stands for constitutional limited government. I support Ron Paul. I am grateful for the important ideas that he has introduced into the public forum during the debates.

"Here is the deal: Ron Paul did not say the things attributed to him."

Well, that's a magnificent lie. So I stopped reading the posted article from that point on. Because, really what's the point? Paul apologists (Paultards) are merely inconsequential cultists, severely lacking of brain matter.

Andrew Sullivan endorsed Paul? Even while he talks about his “friend” Joe Klein and says he is for Obama? In other words, Sullivan supports Paul as a way to cripple the republican party. I doubt he’s the only leftist to do so. RATS are well known for sabotaging republican primaries.

Dogs? More like chickens... coming home to roost.

If you’re not in control of a publication with your name on it (excluding posts and open forums, of course) you are a fool. So Paul is either a scumbag or a fool — and both options are awful.

Its easy to see which side of this “debate” discusses principles and issues and which side gets even more hysterical without offering anything objective or constructive.

The anti-Paul people had better come up with something more substantial than aaaahhhh he’s nuts! and anyone looking for a real Constutional candidate is a Paulbot.

Ending excessive foreign entanglements is not “cutting and running” or “appeasing”. In fact, the result would be a stronger America, more secure and prosperous and more able to be a real example in the World.

“Can anyone honestly tell me why things Ron Paul did NOT say over twenty years ago should be news today?”

1. He DID say those things 20 years ago. He owned the letters with his name at the top and as the named editor and as his signature on some, hired those who assembled it, collected money from it, defended them, admitted they were his, attracted the type of people who would read it, and it should be clear to most people that he wrote them or purposely allowed them to be published.

2. Yes! He is is accountable for the letters of 20 years ago. I give you the names, Robert Byrd or William Ayers? Would you have accepted the past of those people?

If the GOP smears his supporters you might as well say President Obama is safe electorally.

He did say this:

“Just think of what happened after 9/11. Immediately before there was any assessment there was glee in the administration because now we can invade Iraq,”

Many of the on-line self-professed financial gurus support Paul and have for quite a while. Most agree with his ideas of ending the Fed and closing many Federal agencies (DHS, Education, etc.). So do I.

But, just because I agree with a lot of his financial positions doesn't mean he would be a good president. I oppose Libertianism on moral grounds as any nation that legalizes the killing of babies and marrying of homosexuals will not last long. God is not mocked.

I work in finance and find that most finance guys can't see beyond money. They are obsessed with money and, therefore, believe that our current financial problems can only be addressed by a militant libertarian like Ron Paul.

There are worse things than a bad economy.
