And, we know that anyone who supports any candidate other than the Carny Barker (aka Newt Gingrich, who is currently tied for fourth in Iowa and dropping like a rock nationwide) is actually supporting Romney.

No one but Newt can defeat Mitt. TBBT has decreed it.

By the way, who caused Newt to get kicked off the ballot in VA - a fraudulent campaign worker or Admiral Yamamoto himself?

Useless article.
Ron Paul will NEVER be the candidate for President.
If he is, then America has already ended and we have gone over the cliff.................

It’s not going to happen.

There just aren’t enough crazy people in this country to put that dufus in office.

Paul will not be nominated.

Playing what if...I would vote for Paul in a heartbeat over the Zero...Paul can be controlled by Congress and the will of the people, Zero will not be controlled, the Constitution is meaningless to him, and so is the will of the people.

Given the choice, Paul.

Reasoning: I would hope that his views on foreign policy might temper a little bit once he sat in the big chair for awhile and was made aware of the bigger picture viz. where we stand as a nation on the global stage. Granted, it's a hope, but we are talking theoretically here because Paul won't win the nomination anyway.

And domestically, I think he's distinguished himself as one of the only candidates on the stump who is willing to bring up the big issues we've been championing as conservatives for a long time, like drastically scaling back the size and scope of the federal government. Granted, whether one man -- even a President -- can do much to combat the entrenched DC establishment is questionable, but again, we're dreaming here.

I don't see how anyone who claims to be a conservative could support or pull the lever for Obama for any reason, because in all that he does, he is the complete antithesis of conservatism. I guess the only reason to pull the lever for him would be to call an airstrike on our own position and hasten the demise of this nation so we could get about building one in our own image, but that's a total doomsday scenario; the fruits of which we'd never see in our grandchildren's grandchildren's times, let alone ours. And plus, we can't even be sure the outcome would be in our favor.

So I don't really think it's a choice. A fun exercise, though. Thanks for the post.

The hypocrisy on the right is astounding.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The issue is Obama or Paul. There is no “right”. So - what exactly is hypocritcal?
I would never ever vote for Obama the Destroyer. If he gets another term, we will either see civil war, the end of the Republic or both. He despises middle America and does not attempt to hide it. I truly believe he wants to put some of us real Americans in prison camps. He makes me think about believing some of those hinky conspiracy theories.
There, now I have vented.
I suspect this article is an emotional reaction to the accusations that Paul is an anti-Semite.
As If Barry isn’t.
How could anyone not vote for whatever Republican is up against Barry? Another four years for Barry and this country will be a third world economic basket case. We could have 20 aircraft carrier groups and no money to put any fuel in them. We would be like the Soviet Union in 1988...armed to the teeth and bankrupt
One thing Obama will NEVER be is a lesser evil. Paul would only be a national security/foreign policy disaster-Obama bests him in EVERY category, including the economy, racism, class warfare, personal freedom and transparent corruption.
I will vote for the GOP nominee, whoever that is. Even Ron Paul.
On areas I agree with him, it would be a breath of fresh air, to have him in the WH.
On areas I disagree with him, Congress, top appointees, good military leaders, would confine him.
The worst I could expect from Paul, is preferable to the best from Obama.
That means USSC Justices, federal judicial appointments, cabinet appointees, etc.
I would vote for paul if Sarah was on the ticket as V.P. Then after the formal ‘’I do’s’’, I would demand that Congress have paul institutionalized and V.P. Palin becomes President
Who has the most Communist friends? Tell me.
Paul's philosophy of ignoring the Islamic threat might be bad, but at least he will stop furthering it.
Paul might be an anti-Semite, but I don't think he's ever broken bread with Rashid Khalidi.
