NHK: Radiation so high at Reactor No. 3 that still no gas detector in place Building must be decontaminated just to install device (VIDEO)

This isn’t news, its anti-nuke activists pretending to be a news agency.
You mean this is from Obama's NRC?
It might be time to stock up on Wild Salmon, Crabs, Halibut, and etc...
Can’t send in a robot huh.
They are measuring radioactivity in fish offered for sale at Japanese markets. So I would stay away from any Japanese seafood right now. The seals and walrus are from the Northern Pacific, so one needs to be cautious. The only reason they are testing for radioactivity in the seals in because Alaskan locals, American citizens, demanded the tests. Eastern Pacific should be okay for a little while, but Fukushima is still leaking like a sieve. Ground water is now contaminated in wells around Fukushima. Yes the Pacific is vast, but the biological mass is small. And the radiation tends to concentrate into the biological mass.
Yes. Obama is pro nuclear. Jasko was just over in Japan congratulating the Japanese on achieving cold shutdown. Even though they cannot even install a gas sensor in reactor 3 due to high radiation. And even though they have no clue what is going on inside the RPV's. Everything they think they know is based on computer simulations and what little gas sniffing they can do around units 1 and 2.
Going to use a high-level radiation proof endoscope.

PS - That was New Years Eve humor.
An update on the latest actions at Fukushima sounds like news to me, it is still there and hasn’t gone away yet. Gonna be like this for at least a hundred years, get used to it.
You really meant slanted reporting like from Arnie Gundersen @ http://fairewinds.com/
He is not even as one sided in his reports against nuke power as much as the governments of Japan and the US are one sided in supporting nuke power.
