Hubby and I were just discussing the outfit the Admiral's wife was wearing, back in the day an admiral's wife would never dress like that in public at all, we know people who must be turning in their graves about that. The only thing I could think of is she was shopping at Walmart and her hubby called her and said “Oh hunny there is something I forgot to tell you...”

As an American these photos do embarrass me. When I was younger I thought it was sort of silly that older people made such a big deal of dressing and acting a certain way, now I see what they were worried about.

She’s South Side all the way. You have to come out to Hyde Park in Chicago this spring. They all dress like that. Whatever is on sale at Macy’s. It has to be good.
