I may not have posted about Palin since the day she said she was not going to run. Maybe once or twice in passing, I'd have to check my own posting history.

I've moved on, you on the other hand can't let her go and have this crazy idea she's the subject of this thread.

"Michele Bachmann has steadfastly remained as the true consistent conservative..."

Yes, all conservatives are consistently for corn subsidies. We need to subsidize corn farmers even more, so they can continue their efforts towards greenness and protecting us from global warming!

While I'll probably vote for her if Santorum is out, I don't like that she is in bed with big corn and wasting money on ethanol initiatives. That negates any thoughts of her being a "true conservative".

"Everyone but Romney, hmmm,"

Can't you even remember her coining the name of "Newt Romney?" She was rightfully trying to slow both of them down and so your criticism rings a little hollow it seems to me.

What a bunch of BS, Sharkey. But whatever. I wish you a Happy New Year!

We are going to need it.

I predict that Michele Bachmann will come in dead last in Iowa.

There was a time that I supported Bachmann, but can stand to even hear her voice anymore.

Even after she loses miserably in Iowa, she probably won’t drop out until her bill collectors run her off.

But things aren’t all bad for Bachmann, she can still go off and work as a tax attorney and raise a couple dozen kids..

Cheer up... she can still get work as a tax attorney.

I also think she would do well as an announcer for professional wrestling events.

Perhaps you should look at it as she has been a strong conservative vote in Congress from a state of liberals.

We ar quite lucky to have her on our side.

Perhaps you will see someone else who won’t even qualify as a tax attorney doing wrestling events in the future. Have a Good New Year.

I think a lot of this slasher attack on Bachmann is coming from the politcal class who are cheering for their respective candidates who are their bread and butter. There is just too much nastiness directed at her, just as it was directed against Palin.

They don’t like Bachmann because she is for real and not playing politcal games as some of her detractors are.

I know she's not going anywhere. Our only hope for a real conservative is Santorum,

Huh?

Bachmann has gone against the RINO leaders, she has not compromised. All the others have. I think most of the “inside baseball” criticisms of her are coming from insiders who react to her like Dracula looking at a crucifix.

You are mistaken.

Rollins is an attack "dog" (Romney abuses real dogs)
for backstabber Mitt Romney.

Ms. Bachmann is an attack "poodle" for Romney.

See the point? No?

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

Poor sport spoiler Romney doing what he does best:

Novak: "Fred Thompson drop-out rumors traced to Romney campaign"

Said Novak: "The rumors were traced in part to Mitt Romney's campaign,
trying to stir up strife between McCain and Thompson
."

"Despite outspending his rivals by huge margins throughout the primaries,
(Mitt Romney, Carpetbagger UT,CA,MA,NH,Mexico) lost Iowa, South Carolina, Florida and California.
The only primaries he won were in Michigan, where Dad was governor; LDS states;
and a few states on Super Tuesday in which his California-obsessed rivals
couldn't spare the cash to advertise.
Only John Connolly in 1968 had a worse cash-to-delegates ratio.
And John McCain rightly did not like Romney's tactics during the primaries.
(W)hen (Romney's early leads) started slipping away, he resorted to unfair,
distorted, scorched-earth negative ads, betting that his opponents couldn't
afford to spend enough for the truth to catch up to his charges."

Yes, Santorum.

Santorum talks a good game but he walks a different path than he talks.

Or, do you think it's "conservative" to take $100,000 from a school district in PA to homeschool kids living in VA?
