Iraq war vet stands up to bullies on Lacey bus (video)
KING 5 (Washington) ^ | 12/31/11 | Tonya Mosley

Jim Hardie doesn't really see himself as much of a hero.

"I really don't feel like I have any more value than anybody else,” he said.

He's a family man with an eight-year run in the Marine Corps. But for the last two years he’s been riding the bus in search of a job.

Last week after a full day of searching, Jim sat across from three guys he felt were being disrespectful to everyone on the bus.

But instead of turning the other way, he looked at them and said "Given the nature of what we've gone through with the word n***** it's not appropriate to loosely throw that word around or refer to white women as white b***** and I'd appreciate if they stopped that.”

That's when Jim says the guys focused in on him, arguing - then hitting - before jumping off the bus.

Don’t try to back down a Marine. They don’t seem to have a reverse worth a damn.

He should have pressed charges then had it prosecuted as a hate crime.

Such tough guys. Three on one, and he’s still standing at the end of the scuffle.

It’s one of the things you are not allowed to say in America—blacks are more racist than whites.

If the skin colors were reversed, this would be national news, with the faux-Reverends Al Sharpton and Jesse James weighing in on racist whites. If it’s Eric Holder’s people, mum’s the word.

I hope someone steps forward and hires Jim Hardie, and if he is on the bus again, the other men on it will have his back instead of backing away.

Good luck, Washington State (west coast, that is) is mostly filled with gutless people who do whatever Christine Gregoire tells them to do.

Headline? Obama/Holden Dept. of JustUs Investigates Civil Rights Violations
Same DoJ lawyers who dropped Philadelphia case set to go after former Marine

Would not surprise me. Maybe Holden could tie this to the "racists" who want answers about F & F.

Sadly, in that state I expect the vast majority of business owners and HR types to side with the black cowards that ran. Hardie might do well to consider a redder state in which to raise his family, although I realize that there's much more to it than mere preference.

The bus company should post pictures of the three thugs on every bus and in every bus stop building and terminal asking the public to identify these bastards. They can be charged by the city with a crime even if Hardie doesn’t press charges esp. because it happened on public transportation which is regulated by the city.

Then again, this is Washington State, where the criminals have the Democrats and reds to protect their asses, esp. against white people, and esp. against a veteran.

Let’s see what happens.
