You must have a way to spam Drudge or change your IP address for each vote.

You just vote, delete the drudgereport cookie, go back to Drudge, vote again, delete the cookie, rinse and repeat. You could vote however many times you are willing to sit there and do that. Paulbots tend to be dedicated to this sort of spam activity, which is why he does so well in unscientific online polls. He also has fans on 4chan and places like that where the population do nothing but sit on a computer all day looking at porn and causing trouble.

These kind of polls are 100% entirely worthless. They literally mean nothing. Drudge no doubt runs them for the same reason most media do, to drive traffic to the website.

And PS...I’m not a Paul supporter by any stretch, but those who think all Paulbots are dope smoking idiots better think again. Your gross generalizations may be funny in your mind but I think you are wrong. There aren’t that many dope smokers in Iowa to give him those poll numbers.

I also find it humerous that a bunch of people who spend lots of time checking out FR are making fun of Paulbots for spending lots of time on the computer.

And before you ask...I’m voting for ANYONE but Obama.

Can somebody post a live thread for this and put it in Breaking News? This is exciting stuff. I just voted for Ron Paul because it seems that everybody else is and I want to go along with the crowd. Can somebody post a tutorial on how to reset my cookie so I can go vote for Ron Paul again?

Newt’s definitely the best beast to beat back Barack. I still don’t understand why anyone thinks we DON’T need a “bomb-thrower” to take on Hussein, unless of course they’re an effete country club type. We must fight terror with terror. You don’t bring a knife to a gunfight. Obama has a glass jaw and we need a man with the cajones to swing hard and smash it.

I’ve never denied that Paul has a broad coalition of drug users, anti-Semites, racists, 911-truthers, anti-war hippies, anarchists, Occupy Wall Streeters, Democrats, leftists, etc.

Well, yeah, the only poll that counts is the one at the ballot box (at least so far, hopefully)

We're just having a little fun here, btw, these polls do have a small influence with perceptions of non political junkies. Not everyone is like us here on FR.

Sad but true.

Here is the thing. People are scared to vote for Ron Paul. Why? Because voting for Romney, Perry, Gingrich, et al. is like voting at Burger King. You can have any variety of Freedom as long as it is what is on the “Menu”. Is that truly how you want to live your lives? Choosing from the “acceptable” choices?

A vote for Ron Paul includes one additional item, the responsibility that comes with Freedom. People are conditioned to assume that their failures will be cushioned by .gov.

As to the “Homeschooling” comment - that refers back to a previous thread on how “Homeschoolers” are out in force for Ron Paul. Must have gotten eaten in the wash.

Seriously - If Ron Paul were the Republican Choice @ a National Level - would all the “haters” vote for Obama?

I've met my share of Paultards, they're with out a doubt a strange group.

I never said all and there are exceptions to every rule.

Why so defensive?

I happen to think Paul is right on a couple of things economic, his stances otherwise are completely maniacal and dangerous, not to mention indefensible.

No, they, including my self, would vote third party. Of course, Paul will probably go indy if he doesn't get the GOP nod.

A vote for Paul guarantees Iran the tools to ignite this world on fire....with his blessings.

He is a fool, his supporters are fools.

If you think that he is going to "give" you back you freedoms, you're sadly mistaken.

Freedom is taken, not given, wise up.

The difference is Paul has a large contingent of younger, techie almost cult-like followers who understand how to do things like delete cookies and write macros to spam vote in polls like this. In general, most folks on FR are simply not going to be as good at that sort of thing as kids on 4chan or reddit. For a lot of these younger people, supporting Ron Paul is sort of part of their online rebellion.

If you were a real Ron Paul Spambot you'd know how to do that. They won't let you into the clubhouse if you don't.

Okay. Interesting approach. As I once told my teenage daughter who was yelling “I want to be given my Freedom!” I pointed out she was born with Freedom, it was her option to pick up the mantle and carry it forward. So it is for each of us (just my opinion).

I don’t expect anyone to “give” me anything. The goal is not to have an establishment Republican “grant” me the right to choose Freedom off the Menu. Looking at the policy of Perry, Romney, and Gingrich - that’s what we will get.

Considering Gary Johnson is the 3rd Party front runner at this point and that he has requested his supporters in Iowa get on board with Ron Paul - I suppose that would make sense.

“The cause of individual liberty and freedom is bigger and more important than any candidate or campaign,” Johnson said Saturday. “I am hopeful that in urging my supporters in Iowa to vote for Ron Paul in the coming caucuses, a victory for the principles we share can be won.”

Here : http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2011/12/31/johnson-urges-iowa-backers-to-caucus-for-paul/

At least you are thinking. My TIC comments aside, we need more of that.

Paultards, ows'ers and dems (I know, redundant) not so much.

Blanket Statement with no back up/proof = BS no matter how you attempt to spin it.

Never mind. Sanity has left this thread.

Yeah, because most people are sensible enough to know when to be afraid of a loony politician. Most people will never vote for Paul because of his insanely stupid foreign and defense policy views. Most conservatives are never going to support a man who thinks the traitor Bradley Manning is a hero and a patriot.

Seriously - If Ron Paul were the Republican Choice @ a National Level - would all the “haters” vote for Obama?

If that happened (and it won't), most will vote 3rd party. In general, I do not believe in 3rd party voting. For the most part I think it is a useless cop-out. However, in the case of Ron Paul versus Hussein, I might have to go 3rd party. The reason being is simple. Ron Paul will never get his domestic agenda passed. He will get nearly nothing done on that front. What Ron Paul actually could do is put in place his incredibly dangerous foreign and defense policies. Congress can't really stop much of what he wants to do on that front. So if we get Paul, we are likely to get the worst of Paul rather than the actual good stuff like his domestic and regulation cuts. All of this is just a mental exercise though. Ron Paul will never win the GOP nomination. He is just not even close to representative of most Republicans - which makes perfect sense considering the fact that Ron Paul is a libertarian and not a conservative.

Yes, our Constitution and Founding DOI recognize that, then instituted a Government to protect it. That is what makes us unique in the history of this world, however it had to be fought for and purchased in blood.

We have strayed so very far from those ideals, generations upon generations of corruption and power have yielded nothing but self serving narcissist who want a piece of it...including Paul. Unfortunately, I can't think of one institution that hasn't been corrupted, we have lost our way.

I don't know "what's in the water", but I do not believe any man who goes to Washington will have what it takes to implement what he tells the voters he is going to do, no matter how well intentioned. History has shown that quite clearly.

IMO, what it is going to take to reset this Country on it's chartered path is not going to happen via a "freedom giving politician".

You deny that zombie supporters of Paul don't flock to public events to inflate his perception of support?

Spin that.

That must have been some fun.
