Add Minnesota to that list. There is no party registration here. Anyone can attend and vote in the caucus as long as they meet these requirements.
Anyone can attend a precinct caucus to observe. You can participate and vote in a party’s caucus if you:
Will be eligible to vote on the general election day for that year;
Reside in the precinct on caucus day;
Agree with the party’s principles; and
Have not participated in another party’s precinct caucus.
Wow, that one zombie in the yellow hat still has headphones on. He must have one of Alex Jone’s interviews with Ron Paul playing in a loop.
Before anyone latches on to “Agree with the partys principles”
Democrats lie. Its what they do.
Precisely!
Once again we allow the dims to conjure up a candidate that is completely unsuitable....and a win for "The Won".
Those are bolts designed to look like headphones.
Makes it easier to hook him up.
We’ve been trying to put a stop to open primaries in TN for a while. No luck so far.
If this ploy works and the nutcase wins TN, I hope it’ll give us the fuel we need for closed primaries in the future.
Open primaries are a crock.

If you change to “closed primary” would you simply register party prefenence at voter registration time? How long before the primary is held would you have to declare you intend to vote in a certain party’s primary? Say you vote in 2012 in the Democrat party primary, then at sometime decide you want to be a republican, when would be the latest you could re-register as a republican to be able to vote in the 2014 republican primary?
Interesting to call the non-Paulites that, when you consider that his key staffers called themselves paleoLibertarians at one point.
That's Libertarians without the pot smokers, but with the Stormfronts, the KKK, the anti-Semites, the conspiracy nuts, and so forth.
