Open primary states are the same reason that we had McCain last time. The dems did their “Operation Chaos” on us before Rush even coined the term...
They were pulling the same stunt with Pat Leahy in Vermont back in the 90’s...since Leahy had no primary opposition; Dems crossed over to vote for the worst of the GOP candidates; then that candidate would get slaughtered by Leahy in the general. Same thing happens to New Hampshire...which GOP candidate will ‘independents’ (in other words, Democrats) support next week? Stay tuned...

If dems were voting for republicans, who was responsible for the ‘historic’ turnouts of dems voting for Obama or Hillary? I can’t believe there are enough more dems than republicans to vote for Obama and Hillary in such big numbers, and have enough leftover to sabotage the republican vote as well. Or can it be that conservatives were the ones voting strategically for Obama and Hillary, leaving moderate and liberal republicans to vote for McCain?
