Maybe it's time for a GOP rebellion. Why should voters listen to the GOP or Rove when they helped us into this soup? Does anyone think Romney has the guts to cut a trillion dollars in spending? Would he or Gingrich demand a declaration of war before putting troops in harms way? Are either of them going to get back to the Constitution, or just give it timely lip service?

Getting ready to eat an early supper and take off for the Iowa caucus in my township.
Think I should take popcorn 'cause the "chitchat" could be interesting. Will be interesting to see if any minds get changed before the vote.

I believe Newt quotes the Constitution quite often and refers to the history of our country. I have no fear Newt will serve our country quite well and as intended by the founding fathers and the Constitution. GO NEWT!

I could really get behind a Paul/Napolitano ticket.
You What?!?!

Voting for Ron Paul is like...voting for Ron Paul.
Cripes.
A free mind is a terrible thing to waste.

OK, say Iran is beginning to lob nukes at Israel, but didn’t declare war on the US. What Would Paul Do?

You should have posted the first couple of paragraphs.....
FIRST PERSON | As a conservative Iowa voter, time is up, and it's time to vote. I supported Sarah Palin and Herman Cain, and had to start looking for yet another candidate. I want smaller government and a sharp decline in spending. I expect a budget to be balanced, and I want the government to follow the Constitution. I find that my list leads me to Ron Paul. Stunned? I know I am.
To vote for Paul is to be called unpatriotic, crazy, bordering on treason, a Democrat and so much more. I'm not excited about my Paul vote; I am resigned to it. The GOP helped take down Palin and Cain. They are giving us Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich from which to choose. The GOP did the same thing with John McCain. They knew he couldn't win, yet they forced him on us. Vote for our candidate or you will help elect a democrat. Sorry, Karl Rove and GOP, I'm not falling for that again.

I can't imagine who else she's talking about, and it shows that Tomfeld is as much a barking moonbat as Paul.

If I could, I would vote for Paul in Iowa too. It will be nice to tell the establishment Republicans (many who are here at FR) that the Democratic party has a “big tent” too, have at it.
I see no other viable candidate in the GOP that will amount to any kind of change. Bachmann never ceases to shoot herself in the foot. Santorum, Gingrich, and Romney have proven over and over that they will take the path of least resistance, and nobody, I mean nobody, takes Perry or Huntsman serious.
Basically, if you are for the status quo, but you just want to put a big R in front it, vote for anyone but Paul. If you really want to shake it up, vote for Paul.
