I call it a victory speech because thats the way Santorum made me feel about his speech, even though only 18 votes currently gives Santorum the lead over Romney.
Watch the whole thing as it was by far the best speech of the night, maybe even this contest

There are conflicting news reports all over the place. Some sources saying Rick won and others giving it to Romney. So who is it?

Perry talked a nice talk about that, but in the end people didn’t buy the idea that he’s the fellow to do it.

That's the key phrase from Santorum's eleven minute speech tonight.

Romney won by 8 votes. Santorum should contest it and call for a recount. Never know if the Romobamanites rigged it

Like I said, as the field narrows Mitt’s apparent support will evaporate. It is not broad, it has always been very narrow. And money cannot buy this.
The enthusiasm will build as the field narrows.
Ignore the MSM, keep the eye on the ball, November 2012 cannot come soon enough.

“as the field narroes”. But this is just the problem........will it narrow enough and soon enough? This thing is playing out just like 2008.....conservatives votes are diluted across a plurality of conservative candidates while the Rockefellor RINOS congregate around primarily one candidate. All Mitt has to do is hold on to his 25% and if there are still enough candidates hanging on and on and on drawing less percentage than Mitt each primary, Romney wins by default.

If anything, Santorum's strong showing in IA is among the worst outcomes for getting rid of Romney. Santorum's a shyster
incredibly weak on the fiscal conservative endwho'll be unable to galvanize strong support on a national level. Once the media starts rolling out Santorum's sketchy voting records, that'll be the end of him.

Don’t think that will happen.
Mitt’s support varies extremely by state. He will NOT carry the South. Won’t happen.
One state primary is not a real indicator of strength.
The shadow effect of the “silent” Tea Party is still very much there. As bad as the Washington Crowd hates to admit it.
MSM says the Tea Party is spent. WRONG.
Mitt will never get the support of those citizens.

Interesting that Santorum “won.” He is Sarah in pants - young, vibrant, courageous and principled. He lacks only her experience.
