I strongly suspect that before this is over, the recording will be examined by experts in the field using sophisticated equipment.

Every time a young girl has a baby out of wedlock they are usually headed for the entitlement program. We should be able to take the baby away & put it up for adoption or put in foster care. The young girl should be given birth control so she can continue with her education & the baby has a chance to survival in a different environment.

So, why can he hear the old stuff? Well, his brain fills in the missing material. That's what's going on here. You lost some hearing. Your brain hears clues ~ a brief sound bit here or there, and FILLS IT IN so that you know what you heard.

There are people who have lost accuity in hearing ~ they are certain they are hearing "black" or "blacks" ~ and it can't be both either ~ but they are totally certain.

Give you an example drawn from nature. You are out there hunting for a Rhinoceros and you hear a heavy breath behind you somewhere in the grass. Is it a lion, or a tiger, or a baboon? Your brain takes the sound you heard and matches it to a best fit ~ TIGER!!!! Oh, my gosh, and you turn just in time to let fly an arrow into a crouching baboon.
Sometimes the brain is wrong, but if it'd told you "Oh, that's just a baboon breathing" and it was a lion, then you'd be dead.

I listened to it full volume a few times and I didn’t get “black” out of it. It sounds garbled to me. At best he said “Blah” as he was shifting thoughts or words.
I believe that the MSM and Media Matters have been scouring tapes for moments like this to paint the doubt of racism on Conservatives.
Did the NAACP say a word about Paul’s ‘newsletters’ that he knew nothing about about (but his name was on them, I guess that doesn’t count...

I understand the concepts. My hearing has been degrading for years.
I should get hearing aids, but I am too vain ( I may be 63, but I am still a good looking man LOL) and I am too cheap... they cost about 6 to 8k each to get what I would want.
I am not deaf in both ears yet and I have learned to lipread.

It was originally a lie by CBS. NAACP may or may not realize that—but if they do know, they don’t care. Remember the accusations of racism against the tea party—they make things up out of whole cloth when necessary, and then the media makes sure that is what the public thinks is the truth.
