It’s a RECALL, but they aren’t going to call it a recall, because it might harm the company’s master, Barack Obama.

How nice...

GM invests Billions into a revolutionary concept. It actually was a good idea on the drawing board. However, because the billions bought an inferior battery and they did not use the best electric motors, they ended up with an 2nd rate hybrid.

Not a recall, but an enhancement. “We’re not “rebuilding” your house because our Volt caught fire and burned your house down. We’re “enhancing” your house with new siding and paint and plumbing and wiring and.....”

I wonder if these cars will get the same mileage after Chevy builds a heavy bulletproof safety cage around the batteries? Even after they do this, I still wouldn't want to drive this car. Being familiar with GM recall solutions, they are usually half @$$ed and poorly executed. They will still catch fire after this.

But wait, wouldn’t a strengthened structure reduce precious gas milleage resulting in law suits and money for lawyers?

What if people burn to death as they drive their democrat cars into the designated recall zone!?

This is MADNESS!

I sure feel sorry for the GM engineers that were forced to produce this POS. What a resume killer.

Why isn’t Obama’s fleet all electric cars? Why does he not lead by example?

My liberal brother bought one of the early Priuses and got into a minor wreck on the interstate returning to Florida. At first, the mechanics told him it would be fixed in no time but, as they inspected the damage, they realized that the accident bent the housing where the massive battery was kept.

It was later declared a total. Apparently, there was no safe way to repair the housing.

It’s not a defect, it’s an undocumented feature.

Didn’t Fisker Motors just issue a total recall of their $100,000+ cars due to something similar?

Fifty Billion dollars of taxpayer stimulus money to GM (and the UAW) just doesn’t buy the quality it once did.

Just how far do you think a fully loaded armored limo will go on a charge? Methinks an extension cord would make more sense.

Is that pic a carbq of a Volt? Was it involved in an accident or did it spontaneously-combust because of this issue around the recall?

They’ve sold eight thousand, seriously? OK, now that everyone in Hollywood owns one, now what?

Libs always have dreams, dreams of making things that can't possibly work or are so darn expensive that even with some competition ordinary consumers still can't afford it.
Libs flat out refuse to go with things proved to work and are affordable because it normally contradicts their “causes”.
