Beck & David Barton discuss Judicial Tyranny but no mention of Gingrich remarks
January 6, 2012 | Ralph Mitchell

Last night on Glenn Beck's GBTV.com television show, Glenn and historian David Barton discussed Judicial Tyranny where many recent Federal judges have been legislating from the bench creating a judicial tyranny. This discussion is remarkable close to the firestorm and headlines caused by Newt Gingrich's position that federal judges that cross the line when they outlaw school prayer and the mention of God at school graduations, should be brought before Congress to EXPLAIN their tyrannical judicial decisions. Remember, the constitution gives Congress the power to set up the court system. Congress in essence oversees the federal court system. In this presidential election season, Beck and Barton should have at least mentionned the firestorm created by Gingrich's remarks.

Glenn has a major hate on for Gingrich, and it borders on the irrational. (And Newt isn’t even my candidate).

I think Glenn Beck is a nasty piece of work. He waxes all pious and conservative, but I think deep down inside, he's just a huckster and as petty as they come. I also think he is as much of a narcissist as Obama is.

Plus, he has real hatred for Gingrich. When he was doing a phone interview with him, he wasn't even listening to Newt's answers, he was making faces and smirking to his suck-up co-host.

I soured on Beck a long time ago. He has done some good things in the past, but he is mostly about him these days.

This exactly describes how I feel, word for word. It took me longer to sour on him, but I did. I just cancelled GBTV; I should have gotten around to it a while ago, but the topper was an email I got from Pat Gray, Glenn’s sidekick, mocking my dislike for Romney and saying he is better than Newt.

I notice that Glenn doesn’t seem able to deal gracefully with callers who disagree with him; he takes it personally. Also, a red flag went up when he recently mentioned those who “follow” him. And, last but not least, his next upcoming rally just seems like overkill. “Restoring Love”.....too touchy feely by far.

Where’s your link? They will drop this out of News/Activism without it.

Beck went off his rocker and will not admit that Gingrich is 100% correct. Beck will never admit he was wrong and I suspect he is a rat lover for Romney. Claims he understand the Constitution. What part does he not understand.

Yep. Sounds like the tell-tale symptoms of a narcissist to me. I have to wonder if it's Glenn's unhealthy ego which provokes such an irrational hatred of Newt. Newt's a polarizing individual, and people like that have a tendency to bring the crazy out of the crazies (which can be a good thing—it's why Newt would be a great weapon against a narcissist like Obama).

Kudos on your cancellation of GBTV. Hopefully many more do the same.

I used to like Glenn, and I think he was delivering a message that people deserved to hear. But he's since mutated into something increasingly unhinged and destructively unreasonable.

I agree. Beck did some admirable things, and I was very much in favor of his rally for Israel last summer. But his ego has gotten out of control. It’s as if he thinks the world is waiting for his next pronouncement, plan, etc.

Beck went off the deep end on Newt because he believes Newt is a progressive! Newt said he was a TR progressive.. whether Newt is or not i don't know, I just wonder about his policy position's are.
