Welcome to this week's Howie Carr thread. He now has a site called howiecarr.us. Howie's new book Hard Knocks is out. I got both the print and audiobook versions. Heard the first quarter or so of the audiobook (audible.com)while at work--no Howie isn't narrating it, but the guy doing it is good. Lots of Howie-isms in it and the plot seems interesting.

And does the city councillor in the book remind ya of Dapper or what? How about those "two guys" (Whitey and Stevie?) and some other characters? Anyway, a good "read" or listen so far!
