Is RomneyCare a small government conservative solution like Romney claims?
Romney, without a doubt, ran to the left of or on par with Ted Kennedy and Barack Obama on gay rights, abortion, gun control, liberal judges, telegraphing timetables to end the war, gays in the scouts, gays in the military, etc:
Romney in his own words
So he is without a doubt a social liberal and a national security liberal.
He also supported TARP, bailouts, stimulus, the GM takeover and, obviously, RomneyCare and mandates against individuals.
And if we agree that the above big government fiscal disasters are not conservative positions, and that RomneyCare is NOT a small government conservative program, but, in fact, is just as liberal and just as progressive as ObamaCare, then he is also without a doubt a big government fiscal liberal.
Please explain to me again why conservative Republicans would wish to elect a social/fiscal/national security liberal to the presidency?
If you are a TEA party conservative, a Reagan conservative, a fiscal conservative or a conservative of any type, how can you possibly support Romney?
Don't be fooled by his lies. Romney is simply one of them. A big government progressive, business as usual, two-faced lying politician.
Go, TEA party!!
Rebellion is brewing!!

Is fire a good way to freeze fish sticks?
Thank you Jim and John for Free Rebublic.
We have a three-generation household here,
and things have been looking up for us here in the new year.
Mrs. Repeal starts a new job Monday after being out of work for over a year.
All the kids are now either working or taking college classes or both.
Now we just need to find affordable heathcare and childcare for the grandkids!
I’m still on board as a monthly for 10 bucks per month,
and I am glad to know y’all seem to have gotten the servers stable.
I guess John finally found the right wire to jiggle. :-)
God bless both of you and God bless the USA.
Repeal the 17th
He!l NO!
Of course not! The solution to affordable healthcare is to get the government COMPLETELY out of it.
Sorry it isn’t more, but you know what post Christmas is like!
Thank you very much, WorkerbeeCitizen!!

Thank you all very much!!
I stopped being a Republican long ago, but if they go for RINOISM Phase Two, than I will only vote for the Authentic Conservative in the Race, the Whigs, ORomney, and the other Uncaring Lethargic Socialists can rot in hell!
“Is RomneyCare a small government conservative solution like Romney claims?”
Interesting how in the ObamaCare lawsuit, RomneyCare is cited by the Obama administration as an example of why the individual mandate is correct, and should be ruled constitutional.
Thanks Mitt.
Thank you very much, 2ndDivisionVet!!
Thank you very much, Repeal The 17th!!
If Romney is supposed to be so “electable,” why the hell do these RINO loving Mittbots feel the need to convince us to vote for him?
Thank you very much, tennmountainman!!
